Bluewater Summer Playhouse has operated in the scenic beachside town of Kincardine, Ontario since 1994. Since Bluewater opened its doors, Kincardine has enjoyed having the only Professional Live Theatre in all of Bruce County. Summer after summer, Bluewater Summer Playhouse provides a mix of side splitting comedies, tear jerking dramas, toe tapping musicals and everything in between. During the year, Bluewater employs local students, volunteers as well as a full time Office Manager - all with oversight from a volunteer board of directors comprised of Kincardine and area locals. In the off season, Bluewater Summer Playhouse is responsible for bringing many special events to Kincardine, including its annual Taste of Kincardine Dinner, Dance and Auction; Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre; as well as an assorted mix of live concerts.
