This bistro is a must try is in the Coos Bay area! They do seem to prefer a reservation so please keep that in mind.nnI ordered the Wiener schnitzel, it came with German potato salad traditional style, served warm, and coleslaw. This was hands down some of the best German food I have ever had. 10/10

Excellent food and refreshing comfort in the midst of of course, amazing seafood. After a cool day, sitting down to hot tea and Sauerbraten with the most delicious gravy was much welcome. We started with the pulled pork fries which were excellent and a very generous portion though all the appetizers looked as satiating and hearty. We unfortunately did not save room for dessert but the cake case was looking tempting. Great atmosphere and service. Quiet between 4 and 5 for an early dinner.

It's weird to find an authentic Bavarian inspired restaurant in a coastal town. I'm glad we found it. The decor is very different. Booths, tables, and a full barnThe food, while not totally German, is close. Very much worth a visit.

2024: Having been through Covid and come out the other side, I have found this restaurant to be just as delicious as ever. The waitstaff are wonderful! So energetic and personable. The beer is as delicious as the first time we tried it, the fries were wonderfully crisp and hot. I even asked for a 7&7 and not even a question was asked, the waitress knew what it was and got it for me. I heartily recommend the Oktoberfest and any drink you care to order as well as every last dessert on the menu! Thanks so much for the friendly service and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks so much Nicole for waiting on us so patiently through a whole liter stein of Hofbrau original with our dinner! A 2 hour affair. The Jagerschnitzel crispy pork cutlet was covered in tender mushrooms, tasty tasty brandy sauce, and came with not only crispy hot fries but a dish of spicy marinated red cabbage too. The last niblet was a whole slice of chocolate buttercream cake with a cream layer so wide I thought I might be able to ski down it. I graciously allowed my husband to share with me.nI think this will become a fast favorite for us! I had a great time!
