Blossom Cafe

This cute little cafe is a hidden gem in Elgin. My friend introduced me to this place and I loved it! I got the chocolate smoothie and the roasted potatoes. Will be honest though, my friend and I weren't the biggest fan of the chocolate smoothie. May have to go for another flavour next time, but the roasted potatoes were great.

Great food. Nice change, still tastes good even though there is no meat!

I'm not typically drawn to vegetarian restaurants, but I stopped in twice in the same week. They definitely make one of the best veggie burgers I've had. We were lucky enough to drop in during off-peak hours, so service was quick and wonderful! I'd come back for: The sweet potato, cheddar, and cashew burger

I've walked by a few times but never stepped in until today, and it was better than I expected. I ordered the Mexican salad with homemade tortilla chips to takeaway and it was fantastic. Fresh, tasty, and delicious! I am definitely adding this cafe to my rotation of lunch spots.

Great little spot. Awesome food, reasonable prices, nice atmosphere, friendly service. Worth checking out even if you're not vegetarian. The daily Indian plate has never failed me. Unfortunately they really only do lunch; it would be nice if they did at least an early dinner and stayed open until 6 or 7.

Blossom is my go-to for lunch. They have a small but flavorful menu with lots of vegan options and the food is always fresh. Prices are very affordable and service is usually very quick. Large groups should make a reservation though as seating is very limited!

We came in after the lunch rush hoping for a veg friendly late lunch. The menu looked great and online reviews raved. The three of us placed our orders and sat down. Two meals came out promptly, and the food was yummy. However after waiting 30+ minutes I finally went up to see how much longer my meal would be. It turned out despite the empty restaurant and several staff members walking past our table a dozen times, my food had somehow been missed. The staff offered an apology and hurried off to make my food, which once it arrived was tasty. We received no other acknowledgements of the error or further apologies for the wait, not even a 'goodbye' or 'thanks for coming' as we exited. We had initially planned to return for future meals, as good vegan friendly food can be hard to come by, however after this experience decided to eat elsewhere for the remainder of our visit to Ottawa.

Great little place for a vegetarian lunch in downtown Ottawa. The bowls are my favorite; my daughter loves the burgers. The ginger lemonade is super refreshing. Lots of gluten free options.

Love it! The humble but complementary design, the real flowers at each table, the decadent vegan/vegetarian menu, the enormous smiles, and that DELICIOUS curried lentil burger. I can't offer enough praise, you will have to try for yourself!!

Very sumptuous food, quality ingredients and friendly staff. Many gluten free options. I always enjoy the Indian rice bowl and chocolate brownie. Water on the side is self serve. Pitfall: not many seats or ventilation. On a sunny fall day, it feels like an oven...
