Hospital staff accommodated my cat with a last minute, urgent appointment on a Sunday.  Everyone was kind and I felt safe in regards to covid protocols.  Significantly more reasonable pricing than other clinics in the area.  Thanks so much for helping Gooey.

Just moved back to the area and needed a closer vet in our area. I was able to get an appointment within the week, and everyone at the vet was extremely friendly and offered great service. They all were great to my dog, and really went above and beyond to make her feel comfortable. I was able to come in to the consultation, and Dr. Lyons was very gentle and thorough with our dog.  I am extremely happy to have found a vet close to home, and I would recommend this vet to anyone in the area. The prices were quite fair as well, especially coming from a downtown vet, I was pleasantly surprised.

I had an appointment scheduled and called 5 days in advance to see if I could reschedule. The receptionist was able to book me the next day. I arrived at my appointment and the receptionist said I wasn’t scheduled. She was able to see that my appointment *was* rescheduled but my new appointment wasn’t added to the calendar. Totally fine, mistakes happen and they were able to get me in that day. The receptionist, however, did take a condescending tone with me throughout.  The vet was super nice but I was surprised that the dietitian wasn’t going to meet with my cat. Instead they were sent my cat’s info and I was emailed a follow-up. Edit: the manager got in touch with me and explained they are short-staffed and the dietitian can’t see every client which is totally fair. Just something I think most would prefer to know before they choose a vet.  I also previously mentioned that they were not responding to my follow-up emails and the manager explained that there’s a bug in the system and they aren’t receiving replies. So, call instead if you need to reach the clinic.

We take both our cats to this clinic. Everyone is friendly and they take good care of our fur babies. They are a little on the higher end in terms of price but totally worth it to ensure the best quality care for our cats

I just moved to the city and was looking for a new vet. I had to bring my cat in on short notice and they were able to get me in the very next day! The staff was great, the vet was very knowledgeable and kind. It was a great experience!

Very friendly staff that want you and your pet to be comfortable and well taken care of. They offer Royal Canin pet food for cats and dogs both large and small in addition to vet services.

I remember this animal hospital to be one of the most friendly and compassionate vets when I took my puppy here 3 years ago. Having been out of the country and recently returned, I called to make an appointment. The receptionist asked me when I was looking to book and I said “anytime tomorrow”. To which she chuckled and responded “uh….no….the earliest I can do is next week”. Apparently I have missed a lot and they are extremely busy. However why ask me when I am looking to book? That would give anyone the impression the time slots are widely available. She should have simply provided me with the first available time. Furthermore, what was with the chuckle? As if I was supposed to know how busy it is? Where is the compassion and empathy I remember from this place? Seems it got lost along the way…..

A colleague of mine recommended Bloor Animal Hospital when I adopted my senior dog in fall of 2020. He’s had a few health complications so I’ve taken him to the clinic quite frequently; always met with friendly service.  The best part of this clinic are their hours!  I work shift work and so having a clinic open until 11pm is perfect because it works with any schedule, as well as the weekends.  I specifically want to point out the excellent care I’ve gotten with Dr. Riddle - I spoke with him about budget limitations and he was very understanding of this, and was not creating any pressure for trying certain procedures or medications.

My original review from 2 years ago was a 5 star. But with the dramatic price increases and some the of the front desk staff being indifferent made me change my review. They still have some really nice front desk staff though and they are as accommodating as they can be.  Prices have increased quite a bit this past year. And I get COVID affected everything and businesses suffered and costs went up but their prices went up dramatically. Our dog has to go in again because he still hasn't improved since his last visit a few months ago. Cringing just thinking of the cost. I won't switch clinics yet because the vets are all really nice and caring but, if prices continue to go up we'll have to think twice.  Original review: Everyone here is really caring and friendly and the vets are fabulous. They are open early and  close late which is very convenient. There’s a lot of paid parking on the main street and side street parking.
