Blighty's Bistro

I had a wonderful time at Blighty's for dinner. The food delicious and beautifully presented. Every dish was outstanding. 10 stars to the chef's in the back! Sam and James. And a special thanks to Bob our fabulous waiter who made the even so fun.

Dropped in an hour before they close and they welcomed us for a late dinner. The waitress was really friendly and kindly explained what their specials, menus for the day and taste of wines. They were following the COVID procedures really well. They seated people distant away from each other and sanitize spots regularly where people’s hands might go. A Cozy, clean and quiet place to eat. Great wines choices and great chef!

We hit up this restaurant when we were trying to find a place to eat near Oak Bay Beach Hotel. We were immediately attracted by the decor and lighting in the restaurant. There are paintings on the wall, and candles on each table. Even though there are not a lot of tables roughly around 10 probably due to COVID restrictions, the atmosphere is superb for a nice dinner. We ordered strawberry pecan salad to start with, and it was the best salad we've ever tried. The presentation is delicate and creative, and the taste is definitely fantastic! The fusion among the fruity flavours, the balsamic sauce, and some in-house sauce is just right to the point! We also ordered seafood and pasta, which were fantastic as well! And what's more memorable is the lady helping people at the tables. She is so nice and energetic! She talked with us a lot, and gave us lots of tips about sightseeing around Victoria : Overall I would definitely recommend having dinner at this restaurant. It will be an awesome experience.

The food was amazing. Compliments to the chef as well Angie and Bob as a serving duet was a symphony of delight.

Always a pleasure dining at Blightys! Small comfortable and friendly atmosphere. They care about the food they make and it shows.

Cosy/funky little Westcoast restaurant. The ambience is fun, but a little casual with umbrellas on the ceiling and hanging single pieces of ribbon everywhere a little low if you are tall. Wait staff is great, lots of fun and engages perfectly with the guests. Wine list is better than expected. Food was all generally quite good, but nothing super exciting. Prices are reasonable.

Food was very tasty. Service light-hearted and appropriate. Allowed a taste of wine before ordering a bottle.

Catered a private corporate function for us and it was incredible. Angie was a terrific host and did a great job not only via her incredible service but also with the preplanning of our event. We had a dinner the week before with friends and they agreed with us that Blighty's is their new favorite restaurant. Jeremy the chef is very talented and prepares his dishes with a great deal of care which shows. Our out of town guests at the corporate dinner considered the dishes to be fine dining quality. We will be back.
