Blackhawk Lake Recreation Area

Outstanding campground. Restrooms are clean and the showers actually have hot water. Nice lake for fishing. Campsites are mostly in a lightly wooded area with lots of grass. Several playgrounds for the kids. Nice beach area with volley ball court and shower house.

Good all around campground. Mostly level sites although a few are in need of leveling. There are blacktop roads through out the campground, 2 dump stations with dumpsters and a nice shower house. The lake and beach are clean and great for kids but the area off to the side near the rental docks was inundated with goose manure. Pricing for the park use and entry fee is a bit steep for daily use. I would like to see see water put in to the sites to keep up with most other campgrounds nowadays,

We stay there a few times a year and it is always a great experience. All of the campsites have lots of room and are mostly level. The bathrooms and showers are large and clean. The lake is beautiful.

Cleanest park/campground I've seen. Not overcrowded. Good rates for boat rentals and campsites. Great fishing lake

We come out here camping at least twice a year! It's a great place to camp. Everyone is always friendly!
