Great rustic campsites available along the Cedar River, trees and fields. Electric and full hookups available in field type setting. Flush toilets available. Poor shower facilities. Fantastic connection to dedicated paved bike trails to downtown Cedar Falls, connecting to great trails in George Wyth trails. Under used trails.

Great county park that is, for me, close to home. Always able to get a last-minute camping trip in if I want. They have a lot of different things to do and a large variety of camping spots, from "primitive" to full hook-ups.

This is a county Park with camping. It is a great place to stay while traveling across country. There are showers, flush toilets and only $13 night for camping. Very quiet after the shooting range ends at dark. Nice people. We did not explore the rest of the park but some here were staying a week. There are 2 parts to the campground. We stayed on the tent side but the other side had full rv sites and cost more. On the tent side you just put your tent wherever you want.

Great place to camp. Has hiking trails, and even a shooting range.

Wonderful place to enjoy nature, there are also several playground for children to play!
