We are excited to be the first veterinary clinic in the town of Blackfalds. We are in our brand new building on Parkwood Road; you can't miss us as we are the biggest building in Blackfalds!
We offer anything from vaccinations to surgery, dentals as well as emergencies.

I go out of my way to come to this vet as the staff are awesome. Never had any problems and I have been going here for 3 years I think atleast. Everyone is always super great at the front desk and the vet lady that sees my dog more often than I would like is also really great with him even when he spends the whole appointment trying to run away from her and hide behind me
Our first visit there for us and our dog . Very professional and organized. We left feeling like our pet is in good health . They took took great care of her ! Thank you Dr Jen and staff !
The staff was super friendly, and the Vet was so good with my very grumpy feline. He was not happy to be there, but she was patient, calm and spoke very soothingly to him, and we got through the visit with no scratches, which is always nice tbh. A little pricey compared to my old vet, but I can't really complain, as it was clear that they will take good care of my furry companions in the future.
all my three little ones have been to this clinic and all have had excellent care. All three are elderly now and Spirit my white coloured tabby may have a tumour and has had a few surgeries on her decaying teeth and they have always treated her with love and patience, and as the thought of her maybe being on palliative care, my vet Dr. and assistance were all very good with me in carefully explaining everything in a gentle loving way, as they know how hard it is for us to loose our little loved ones. My dog Daniel almost died from an attack of another large dog at a dog park and through all the trauma they helped my dog and me through it. There is no other place I would go for my little love ones, there is also something to be said about the small town feel of knowing your vet and them knowing you and your pets, although my favourite veterinarian has left, I am very please another just as loving vet has taken over for her who is Dr. Hudson. I am very pleased with her and so glad my mind can be put at ease knowing my pets are still in great hands.nnUpdate 2023 of MarchnnI still have not changed my above statement it is still true today.nnMy two cats ended up being put to sleep, I was able to have my one cat put to sleep at home by the vets, it was summer and they allowed my girl to take one last walk through our flower garden she loves, than I held her while they lovingly and gentle did everything, she fell asleep gently in my arms before they put her under, than they walked away to give me some time to say goodbye.nnIt was unexpected but the vets took a paw print for me after they took her which was really nice to have.nnMy dog Daniel is now nearing the end and the vets have been so good with both of us.nnMy dog Daniel passed a little over 2 years ago.nnDecember 2024nI have a new addition to the family and my blackfalds vet is still a wonderful place for my little girl, they are so helpful on all my needs and questions, taking the time to show me how to trim her nails by myself.nAlways a good experience every visit.
My Westie Lily and I saw DR. LISA LOEWEN today. Lily had a bad ear infection and she was kind and explained everything to me a showed me how to administer the ear drops. She made Lily at ease and was so gentle with my scared girl. The women at the front desk were just as caring and helpful. Feels good to have people who care for our pets and were exceptional with customer service. Was a great experience and hoping Lily is on the mend soon.
