Welcome to the historic Black Diamond Bakery! The Bakery has become famous after many years of baking bread in our "Old Brick Oven" built by its founders in 1902.

People come from miles around to purchase hot bread and bakery supplies from the oven daily. It used to be if you didn't get here by noon, you would see a 'CLOSED' sign on the front door! Now bread is available most of the time, till sold out or at closing at 9pm. But do come early, just in case cause we occassionally run out of some of the favorites.

Went here on the recommendation of a friend. We were a party of 6. We were told it would be just a few minutes to be seated. After waiting for 30 minutes, we inquired about the table that could seat ten that had been open the entire time, the table they had just put together that could seat 8 in the middle of the room, and the tables against the far window which could easily be put together to seat a party of 6. We were told that those tables were set up to take groups larger than ours and they have told a table of 6 guests that people were waiting for their table. It didn’t seem like their management of the dining area was really interested in gaining new clients, so we left and went somewhere else for breakfast.

We bought our Parents 60th wedding anniversary cake here. It was perfect, beautiful, just the way my mom wanted it to look. 3 tiers, delicious the cake was moist the frosting had the perfect sweetness to it. And they let us designed it completely. The bakery is full of lovely baked goods so many decadent choices and all kinds of bread too.The restaurant has so many delicious choices yummy. The wait staff is wonderful, the prices are good. You can buy specialty candies here chocolates, hard candies including the hard candy that looks like pieces of coal. I love the coal shaped liquorice candies since childhood. This is the coal you may get in your stockings on Christmas if you've been bad. Also a coffee espresso shop, and a conference room is available to rent. And dancing with a live band on weekend nights. Love the Black Diamond Bakery and Restaurant. It's such a treat.

They have extremely generous filling in their Bismarcks.  The pastries are second to none.  The service and coffee is excellent.  There is a lot of seating capacity!

Been going to this place for a lot of years, before the expansion and new ownership,  food always been good and reasonably priced. Our experience today was not normal. Reservations were for 11am we finally got seated at 11:15, no issues with our server. The odd thing was that as soon as I paid our bill the owner came over and asked us to leave,  people were waiting. The new owner was rude this was never the case in the past, we could at least finish our coffee. Yes, I will go back if not only to see if the attitude has changed.

I love the view and the atmosphere here. The food is moderately priced and is delicious. My only reason for the 3 star rating was the food safety rating in the front window gave a score of "OK" which I found a little off-putting. I will happily change this to a 5 star if that changes.
