Found this gem while exploring the neighborhood. What a delight!! Donuts were still fresh late in the day. Perfect size to share or splurge and they have donut holes!! Sometimes you only want a nibble. Donuts were so light, fluffy and melt in your mouth. Filled donuts are actually filled. Apple fritters have actual apple. I would have shown you the donuts holes but I ate them.
I have tried many different varieties and these are great donuts! Always soft and delicious, I especially like the jelly filled. Kim is super nice and friendly. Amber always has a great attitude. They both genuinely seem happy to see us come in
I love Kim. Since I moved here we have built a bond. It’s always a pleasure. King Donuts have the best donuts in the whole world… I can honestly say I never had a better donut in my life.
The best Thai food in Seattle, even with such a limited menu. The donuts, I'm told, were fresh and delicious. Customer service was too notch. My only complaint was the customer there beatboxing while spinning around, with her mask sitting under her chin. No one said anything to her, so I left and called the employee at the desk to bring it out for me.
One of my favorite places to get donuts! It's light, fluffy, yet delicious. Nowdays donuts are very fancy breakfast or desert menu as they are pretty expensive. Some places you can't even get their dunuts because they are kinda "instAgram" famous places. However King donuts are not like that! They are well known for people who already know their donuts are so good, old fashioned waywhich you can't find this type anymore yet the price is very reasonable. New location is on rainier ave, very clean, staffs are friendly. They have clean diner area inside so you can have donuts and coffee there. Don't bring your laptop for study or work. Because you don't have time for that but just enjoy donuts! They close at 1pmsold out earlier though during weekdays and 4pm during weekends.
My sister and I had a bad experience here. We were the only customers in the shop when we walked in and somehow we were never greeted, neither of the 2 staff members acknowledged us, and we walked out without donuts because they couldn't even bother to serve us. No eye contact, no nod, no “hi”, nothing. I’m not trying to be aggressive just to be seen at a fully staffed and otherwise empty store. Can’t speak to how good the donuts are, but there was an extremely limited selection and all the donuts were basic.
King Donut is my #1 addiction in Seattle!!! I can never stop thinking about both their mango glazed and mango filled doughnuts! I am sorry, but this is by far the best place for doughnuts in all of Seattle, and the energy of the shop is so community oriented. Thank you King Donut for making my days, as a transplant to Seattle, feel like home!
Poor customer service. The man that worked on the morning of April 27th, was rude and yelled at my friend in front of all the patrons. He accused her of taking 50 cents out of the tip jar. I had given her the 50 cents she was mistakenly getting ready to put it in the tip jar. She realized what she was doing and put it on the counter. He began yelling at her and she was so shocked, that she could barely respond at first. He took that to mean she had taken 50 measly cents out of his tip jar. Which only had a penny in it by the way. He treated her, as a Black Woman horribly, and his behavior was degrading, coming from a white man. Our children were there and it was something they should not have witnessed.
Absolutely love the new location! The donuts are just as delicious as ever. My weakness is a light and airy Maple Bar. This one does not disappoint!
The only donuts i will ever eat from now on. I used to not like donuts much but the donut holes from this place are just right where it’s not too sweet and not too doughy either. I enjoy this place a lot
