The newly renovated Black Beard's Restaurant is one of Estevan's longest serving eatery's. Black Beard's has gone through many changes over the years (most recently renovating in the winter of 2015) but the service and quality have remained the same since it originally opened in 1966.

Wait staff was SO BUSY both times I went supper and breakfast, but were smiling and friendly. Food was fresh and filling. The fries are a must-have. This restaurant even had a coffee row table like a small town. This is the place to come. The heart of Estevan!
Showed up with a group of 15. Everyone seemed to enjoy their meal unless you ordered the shredded hash browns. Mine were cold inside, along with 3 others who ordered at my table. When they brought a second order out, they were burnt on the outside of the serving. Of course then all you could taste was burnt hash browns. They took one plate from our table and stuck it in the microwave behind us. None of us were impressed. Needless to say, I won't be going back.
Visited Estevan to see my. Son and family, and my daughter and I took my granddaughter here for a birthday breakfast. Food, service, and atmosphere were good, very friendly.nOnly had one ishew, with my breakfast, I ordered a scramble with green peppers, mushrooms, and cubed hashbrowns but got the oe with sausage and shredded hashbrowns. The waitress apologized and asked if I would like her to take it back and bring me the correct order, and I was ok with what I had. Even though it was not my order, it still tasted good.
On an impulse I decided to stop here for breakfast after seeing the billboard. My Eggs Benedict was great, perfect medium with a runny yoke. Coffee was good as well.
