It is beautiful. The people are nice but the sites were small and packed together on the hill. Its also one of the most mosquito ridden places I've ever stayed. We saw a bear which was cool, just make sure you secure your food.

Stayed here for a weekend to visit the CNL open house. Campsite was affordable and overall pretty nice. I didn't get in until past 11pm but site management was flexible with checking in the next morning.

Stayed here for a week. Got in trouble from management for cutting a very dead pine tree down in the middle of my rented campsite. I felt the tree was a safety hazard for myself, my young family, and my rig. Plus I needed firewood. Also, they are not very dog friendly as I had to keep my dog tied to a tree the whole time, which is incredibly inhumane. Dogs, like kids, are supposed to explore and be able to play without being caged. Shame on helicopter parenting and management.
