Dunne's Trailer Park and Campground

Terry was an awesome host! Our trailer was clean and I loved the screened porch! The lake has a sandy bottom and able to walk out quite a distance in shallow crystal clear water. This mini vacation was amazing! Highly recommend. Looking forward to our return.

During the summer my family and friends visited Dunnes twice. Our first stay was fine, but the trailer needed better maintenance and cleaning and there was a mouse nest in the BBQ. During our second stay in a different trailer the owner was quite rude to us on a few occassions. First, he was angry that I entered the property to allow my small child a chance to use the comfort station washroom without tracking him down first for payment. Second, he let us know the water heater was not working in the trailer and he did not plan on fixing it, I could boil water if I needed it. Thirdly, he was very angry that I allowed my small child and her three friends who paid to be there to watch a show quietly in the trailer during a significant thunderstorm. So with this, the three other families that I visited this campground with, and my family will be staying very far away from Dunnes. The owner has shown us a great deal of disrespect, very little customer service, and zero compassion. This property is beautiful and a great location with a wonderful lake but it is not worth the constant worry about what you might be scolded at for doing “wrong” next. I believe with some lessons in humanity, clean trailers, and a some work on the property this could be a very successful business. However, I don't think this owner will change his disposition and it is a real shame. *Edit* As displayed by his body shaming and falsehoods below, this owner is unhinged and disrespectful. I do not need to further defend myself as his words speak volumes about the type of person he is. Avoid.

Our first RV experience at Dunnes Camping is amazing! Terry is such an amazing , helpful , knowledgeable man. The view is absolutely amazing. You walk out your front door right onto the beach. You can walk out in the water for 50ft before it hits your shoulders. Very clean facility.

Edit: we stayed at Dunnes again just last weekend as a group of three families and I have to say we will not go back. Beach is beautiful, but unfortunately the owner Terry made us all anxious. His outburst toward our friend on our last night there went to far. An issue he had with 4 small children watching TV in the trailer after a rain storm could have been handled with simple conversation. However, his immediate extremely harsh tone and subsequent action was too much. We made it very clear we were camping as a group. We were not told only one family was welcome to use trailer. In fact, the previous stay my husband and I rented same trailer and all three families spent 90% of the weekend on our site with absolutly 0 issues raised from Terry. I'm not sure what happened, but I would be truly worried about something similar happening again ruining our vacation so we will not go back. Beach is beautiful. Hit and miss hospitality. Original: We stayed here this past weekend and had a wonderful experience. Waking up on a beach front lot with sand beach that stretches as far out as you could possibly care to walk or swim was perfect. We rented the on-site trailers and will be sure to return. Provincial park is just around the corner for some extra daytime activities.

Great private park. Water is clean sand bottom. Trailers are clean and literally steps from the front door Different style and sizes of boats to rent Trailers are clean and fully loaded. Have been here 2 times this summer. And would definitely return again. Thank you Terry

Beautiful quiet campground and amazing sandy beach on Round Lake. We have found Terry, the owner, to be such a kind soul and a helpful gentleman had to mention that as the other one review seems truly one-sided and lacking content.

Trailer was dirty / old but the view and beach was amazing Would not go back unless I had my own trailer.

Warning! The operator of this camp ground is unstable. Swears and curses anyone who doesn't read his signs as you enter the park. I left in a hurry.
