I have fine curly hair and the cut ruined my curl pattern and texture. Don’t recommend if you have curly hair, my hair hasn’t been the same for 8 months unfortunately

Very nice haircut the first time. Second time i ended up with a hair cut that looked something like a clipper job #2. I had a maximum of 3 cm of hair left on my head, which was not at all what i had asked for but seemed to be the result of a lack of attention from the hairdresser. I waited a long time as well there before my unfortunate haircut . Several months later my hairs are still super short. I kept my camera off for my online meetings for about a month after that haircut.

I received a bang trim from Yannick that I was dissatisfied with. I kindly informed him that it was significantly shorter than I expected and for this reason I would not pay the $10 he was charging.  He became very defensive and angry. I promptly left and he followed me out of the salon insisting that I was not welcome back and he “does not put up with this s$*! anymore.”  Very unprofessional and honestly a bit traumatic. I enjoyed going to this salon and I cannot bear to face him again. I can only hope that he learns from this and avoids treating future clients with such disrespect.

A great experience. I felt very welcome and got a great cut and colour - a hidden hair rainbow! The salon is cozy and nicely decorated and everyone who works there is very open and knowledgeable. They don't do coffee and tea like some salons but you can go to the cafe across the street and bring it in - remember your re-usable coffee cup! ;

The first picture is what I showed the colourist for an inspiration picture. The second is what she gave me. This horrible, insanely expensive colour was done by their most experienced colourist. It cost $250, no cut, on chin length hair!! The stylist refused to give me a breakdown of the cost, only saying it was because of "the methods and materials" without any specifics.  I asked for balayage with a blended root and pastel pink colour. When I saw the result I almost cried. It was very streaky and there were huge chunks of colour missing in the side and the back. She also made the front pieces solid blocks of colour, completely different from the rest. It's not blended at all and looks patchy and rough. I have had multiple people ask me if I did it myself. The bright pink is not at all what I asked for. I felt like a badly drawn anime character. They do have a policy where you can go back and get it fixed for free within a week, but you have to get it done by the same stylist. I didn't want to risk serious damage if she messed it up again, and didn't really see why she would be able to do a good job the second time around. If you want a good colour go to Ean at Two Horses, I had a great experience there.

A great haircut from experienced stylists and very good value for your money, especially with a student discount. The atmosphere is noticeably warmer and more inviting than any other salon I've been to. I've been to a dozen places around Montreal and I can't recommend this place enough.

I was dissatisfied with my cut due to it not being what I asked for and I was quietly talking to my friend about it while my hair dried when suddenly the hair stylist came up to me very aggressively and tried to kick me out claiming I was causing drama, called me insecure and was being extremely rude. The entire experience felt scary and stressful especially since I’m a student and she’s a grown adult. Staff around didn’t do anything and I had to profusely apologize to the hair stylist until she let my hair dry so I wouldn’t go outside in the freezing cold with icey hair. Irregardless of the harassment, my haircut is choppy and ugly. Thanks.
