I‘ve had my balayage done by Isis here for the past year or so and for the first time in my life I’ve started actually loving my hair! Isis first did my hair when she was in school, and it’s been amazing to see how she’s progressed from creating a look already loved with to doing even more incredible work! All the staff I’ve talked to there have been super nice and knowledgeable, and their new space is beautiful with art from local artists No idea what the spam-y reviews in the past few days are talking about, always had a great experience here and with Isis in particular. I recommend this place to all of my friends, and I just wanted to add my experience here since she’s very good at what she does. Also, can’t recommend this place enough to any trans people looking to change up their look, super chill staff who are super helpful for whatever thing big or small you’re thinking of. Love you guys

I have a lot to say about my experience First I had to be rebooked me with someone else because of a schedule conflict. I was never informed that I would be working with a junior stylist. I paid about 100 to do a hair color consultation. Half of it being for a deposit. I was quoted 4.5 hours procedure for 265 plus tax. The actual appointment almost took twice as long and ended up costing me almost two times the price quoted. It's not right to pay 100 for a consultation and deposit just to have timing issues. The owner Apple was friendly in their email at first but when I started questionning how they calculated the refund their email got more and more rude. Assumed I was lying about being misinformed about both pricing and timing. I was told that my last hour overtime wasn't charged but the owner told me that they didn't charge me the extra hour which is usually 50 but in my case it was considered paid by the deposit. So it mean that extra hour was paid with my deposit. I felt like the emails weren't efficiently working so I called the owner's directly . They were so rude, I was told that they did more than enough for me and that they were done with the conversation. I had to stay almost extra 3 hours and charged much more, sent home with still wet hair and bad stains. I learned from my coworker that stylists are supposed to put vaseline around your face to limit the stains too. Days after my dry hair still stains me as soon as it is touched. I was called emotional by the owner when I was expressing a dissatisfaction with a service I paid for. I was only refunded about 2 of the 3 extra hours I paid. Why pay a 1 hour consultation to then have these timing and pricing problem. The reason I paid a consultation was to avoid having to deal with that. Owner was barely listening to me when I was speaking and basically saying that they shouldn't do this much if I won't become a client? So unprofessional! I would have gone back later but now been treated like this I won't. I wasn't even asking for a full refund I just wanted my money back for the overtime I was charged because I don't feel it's right to make your client pay for your salon not managing their time efficiently or giving unrealistic quotes. If I was told it would be an almost 8 hour job that would cost 500 I would've just done something else. So do not recommend going there, miscommunication issue, pricing problem, timing problem that is definitely not worth it. I had big hopes for this place as it was recommended to me by a coworker who knew the owner. Pictures of how I get stained even after multiple washes with all the skin care I own.

I had a wonderful experience at salon unlistd! I booked a consultation and a cut and I am so happy with the results : Haley was super thorough and answered all of my questions. She let me know every step of the way what she was doing and why. She made sure to ask for my input along the way to make sure that I got the haircut that I wanted. She also let me know that if I wanted to come back for some adjustments that would absolutely be possible. Not only did Haley do a great job, she was super sweet and fun to talk to! The salon is beautiful and the other stylists are super friendly too. I used to dread going to the hairdresser, but I am so glad I found this place! Great medium-short haircut and really brought out my curls, thank you Apple! After a quick consultation, we talked about what I was looking for, and then she checked in while she was cutting to make sure I liked it. Overall, one of the best haircuts I've ever gotten.

I had a haircut and hair consultation with Levana. I loved every second of it. I have been cutting my own hair forever and really missed having someone else taking care of it. She is really knowledgeable and gave me very sensible advice on how I should colour my own hair because I do it myself and style it. I am a mom with very little free time to spend on myself. She understood exactly what I wanted and did a great haircut and styling. People were complimenting me all day at work... I love the salon vibe, their website, and what they stand for. I came to this salon for the first time last week for a cut with Levana and she did a great job. Levana asked me what kind of cut I wanted, which products I used and how I usually styled my hair. She listened, asked questions, and offered suggestions. I was going for a shorter cut and we went over the pictures of the look I wanted to achieve. She did the cut and explained how to style it. I tried styling it at home a few days later and it came out really nice. I used the curl cream she recommended. I liked that I was able to book an appointment through their website, the salon was comfortable to sit and wait in, and Levana was a wonderful hair stylist. I already have my next appointment booked for a cut and colour.Services: Curly hair

They did well on my colour but I went back for a cut and it's clear that the senior stylist didn't know how to handle my afro-textured hair. Usually I don't let white people touch my hair for this very reason, but since the colour turned out well, and I was paired with a senior stylist, I decided to give it a shot. I wish she would've admitted to me that she didn't have the necessary experience. I ended up having to correct my haircut myself at home which was really stressful and upsetting. I wouldn't recommend going here for a cut if you're Black/have afro-textured hair.Service: Hairstyling

I would highly recommend this place if you’re not into the overly-posh type of atmosphere in most other women’s salons. I appreciated the cool, laid-back, alternative vibe, even though the cut I wanted was still kinda “normie” lol — I felt welcomed and understood. Plus it’s very cute and mostly anglophone if that matters to you! I had Hayley and she did a great job on my balayage and cut!

This salon is the BOMB! Truly one of the best experiences I've ever had getting my hair done. I've never seen stylists go above and beyond the way they do at Unlistd. Their little take-home brochure on hair care was such a fantastic touch, so helpful and educational! Isis Ice was the sweetest, kindest, and most knowledgeable stylist I've ever encountered, and my hair feels so much better for it! Got my hair bleached, colored, cut, and styled by the amazing Isis, aka Ice, a while back. Never had gotten my hair done before and to keep this brief, the results were impeccable! 100% recommend : Really nice and accommodating staff too.
