I have never been so embarrassed in my life. There is a reason that there is a no tip option when you go to pay. That is for when the server does not do a good job and does not care for their customers. One member of our group asked for a non-dairy option and the server said that they would go ask and did not. They then proceeded to bring out a plate for them with dairy in it and they had to send it back. It was very inconsiderate and unprofessional. It was extremely embarrassing when I did not tip and the server called me out in front of my friends demanding a 15% tip for their job. I was so embarrassed that I offered to tip but he ignored me and moved on. This server was not only a terrible representation of the restaurant but of all restaurants in Hull.

Really good food. The only thing I didn't like was that it smelled like smoke when I walked in.

Are you looking to find a new spot to eat tonight? I want you to meet Bistro l'Alambic. Wow this place is just awesome. Staff professional, bilingual and friendly. The food is sophisticated innovative and most importantly made with love. Cool and interesting events announced on Facebook. The cocktails are actually made with quality ingredients. This bistro is a must on your list and it will soon become "Your place".

I wasn't sure at first when we arrived, there was only one waitress and there wasn't a lot of choice on the menu, but I was agreeably surprise! We didn't wait to long and if you ask the waitress there is more than the menu offer. The food and the drink were excellent.
