Halal , Pakistani food with great portion sizes and good prices… Parking was tricky. Clean , friendly and fast service. We had lasting impressions. Would definitely comeback next time we are aroundFood: 5/5
We were visiting Victoria for the long weekend and this was the only authentic Pakistani halal restaurant that we could find in Victoria! On top of that, it was a great experience dining in. I would rate that even higher than many Pakistani halal options we have in lower mainland. Their food was really nice. Chicken Dum Biryani was very tasty and one of the best I have had so far by a restaurant in BC! Chicken Tikka Masala was also good but Biryani shadowed everything else lol We actually ate from here 2 times during our visit. First was this experience which was dine in and second day we did a take our of their Samosas, Samosa Chat, and Masala fries plus Karak Chai! Its hard to find Authentic Pakistani Samosas even in Vancouver so it was a pleasent surprise to find actual Pakistani Samosas in Victoria. They were really crispy and fresh. Their serving size for all their dishes was really good. Their service was 100%. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We had our 1 year old daughter with us so we had to make a few requests and those were all taken care of nicely. Overall i would give them 100/100 for food, quality, dine in experience, service and availability of Halal Pakistani cuisine Vegetarian options: All sorts of veg options like Samosa, chat and whatnot Dietary restrictions: 100% Halal Parking: Many free parking spots at the back. When you are driving in, dont miss the parking sign that comes right after the location, you have to turn right before the bus stop into the alley. Kid-friendliness: Amazing kids menus as well! My 1 year old enjoyed their spaghetti pasta
OMG!! I loveeeeee the food!! Authentic Pakistani food!! Yummm!!! The place is nice, the servers keep checking on you if you need anything and the owners are so welcoming!! We tried their biryani, goat curry, bbq chicken and haleem...totally mouth watering!! And the best part is they also have a kids menu i went from Surrey and leme tell you that we do not have any single restaurant here that serves authentic pakistani food.. i wish we have one Biryani palace here in Surrey as well...
I believe this is a relatively new restaurant and I had heard good things about it from my Victoria friends prior to visiting. I went there with family twice and tried their Chicken Dum Biryani, BBQ platter, Papdi Chaat, and Veggie Pakoda. All of those things tasted delicious. Also, their chai is really Karak. Keep up the good work guys.
Amazing food and service. The owners were there and really attentive to us. It was a less busy afternoon but our order was prepared very quickly. We had both the goat and chicken biryani and the biryanis were both very mild but in a good way. Overall enjoyed our lunch and would surely come back if ever in the area. Dietary restrictions: Halal
The food was absolutely delicious. We ordered chicken biryani with the tandoori platter and enjoyed them both. The biryani was flavourful, fresh, and tasty. I highly recommend trying them.Food: 5/5
Title: A Flavorful Fusion: Tandoori Chicken and Labour Chat Review Review: The combination of Tandoori Chicken and Lahore Chat is a delightful culinary fusion that will leave you craving more. The smoky charm of the tandoori chicken perfectly complements the zesty tang of the Lahore Chat, creating a symphony of flavors that dance on your palate. The tender, marinated chicken bursts with aromatic spices, while the Lahore Chat adds a lively twist with its blend of textures and tangy chutneys. Together, they create a harmonious balance that showcases the artistry of Indian cuisine. If you're looking for a flavorful adventure, Tandoori Chicken and Labour Chat are an absolute must-try. Lahore chat is not on the menu ask for it separately.
We went there a couple weeks ago with kids. The restaurant was clean, the service was fast, our server took the time to explain the menu items to us patiently as it was our first time trying a Pakistani food. The food came in a reasonable time, in good portions. We chose mild and I have to say the food was truly mildly spiced. We ordered both rice and stew and tandoori platter. We liked all of them but tandoori got a higher score from our family. There are a few parking spots available at the back of the building but there is a good chance you can’t get a spot there. Definitely will go back every now and then.
The Best Biryani and Authentic Indo-Pak Food Biryani Palace is a hidden gem for lovers of Indo-Pak cuisine. Their biryani is simply outstanding, with perfectly cooked rice and flavorful spices that create an unforgettable experience. The authentic taste takes you back to the roots of traditional recipes. The staff provides excellent service, and the cozy ambiance adds to the overall dining experience. If you're seeking the best biryani in town and crave authentic Indo-Pak flavors, Biryani Palace is a must-visit restaurant.
I went for the first time last week and I am already thinking about everything I want to order when I go again! The food was so delicious. We had appys, main dishes and dessert and enjoyed every bit of it! The prices are very reasonable and the service is quick and friendly. The owners are kind and incredibly generous hosts. I highly recommend. Vegetarian options: I was recommended a number of vegetarian options before choosing the Malai Kofta. It was flavourful and filling and I would order again. I am looking forward to trying the Palak Paneer next.
