We went there for the first time to celebrate my wife’s birthday and we had an excellent experience. Staff was very kind and attentive and the overall service was great. They gave us such an immersive time with thorough explanations and suggestions. Every dishes were absolutely delicious. My family left very satisfied, which made this worth the visit.
Not your average Victoria restaurant. The food alone is the reason to go. The wine selection is broad and priced well. I didn’t realize the original Block is in Banff. One of the chef’s came out and presented the dish. It was an artisan experience. Plates exquisitely and tasted even better. 10 out of 10, would recommend. Come for the food, stay for the desserts.
This place is the perfect balance of atmosphere, drinks, hospitality, and a delicious, approachable menu. The cocktails are made by an inspired bar team and they use the latest mixology techniques to bring the flavor and creativity from the glass to your mouth. They have some cocktails on tap along with an awesome selection of local beers and a variety of wine. For their food, I recommend a little bit of everything! It's a great selection of casual Asian fusion and some more high end items, like fresh local oysters. It's perfect for either a dinner with some friends, or a spot to stop for some late night tapas and a cocktail. Hospitality is the backbone of this establishment as their team has a ton of experience. It shows with how they handle the room. I'm looking forward to watching this space grow and am already excited to bring a group of my friends in to try some more cocktails!
The food was the best of our stay in Victoria. We had the Tokyo fries, Kara Age Chicken and Mussels in yellow curry with Naan. Dessert was pot de crème! Jessie our waiter was superb! Make a reservation to insure a spot!Food: 5/5

We came in for cocktails and ended up trying the block fries too. All the staff was super sweet and helpful, and the bartender helped explain drinks and help us pick something we would love. The atmosphere is very laid back but has a fun vibe stillFood: 4/5
This was absolutely delicious! My wife and I grabbed some drinks, a couple appetizers, and split an entree. It was more than enough food. We ordered the duck spring rolls because we hadn’t seen that anywhere before and they were amazing.
Wonderful cocktails. Exactly what we were looking for when I decided to try this place. The food was fantastic and exceeded our expectations; Best Tuna Tataki I've had in a while. Pulled duck lettuce wraps and Tako Yaki were both also excellent.Food: 5/5
