September 2022: First time at this lovely open air beer garden & I’ll definitely return. The open space/family style seating is perfect for small or large groups. The serve yourself water station is a nice reminder to stay hydrated while day drinking.
A great outdoor patio area. Picnic tables with solo stoves. A fun time on a Summer evening! The Raspy Cat is my favorite beer on tap. Also, bc it’s outdoors it is animal friendly. There would be 5 stars if this place had an indoor area so it could be open all year.
Very nice place we had a Gathering Gathering with our club there. they let us bring outside food and the drinks that they provide were tasty. The servers were nice. 100% recommended. If you want to hang out in downtown Ann Arbor, have this place in your mind.
Called last call only 3 hours into their business hours, 2.5 hours before close, based on their listed September hours on their website. It was a very nice Monday evening, no weather, but when I asked why, I was told they close early because of weather. I was there for probably 30 minutes, many of the tables were occupied, so there was still a decent crowd and they turned away several groups of people after announcing last call. I like Bill's and have never had any issues with this business before, but it's extremely frustrating that they would close so early before their listed hours. Our group took our business elsewhere.

Bill's Beer Garden is a seasonal pop-up after hours adult-only hang out in the parking lot of the Home & Garden Store. It's novel and simply delightful. They have a nice assortment of beers as well as some yummy options for us hops haters. But, heads up, there’s no food besides some chips at the bar but you can have food delivered or bring it in. They even have some games you can borrow!
I've been to the beer garden many times, and it's almost always a good experience. There's plenty of seating some tables, some benches. Some seating is under a canopy or awning. I think there are two restrooms, but I am not sure. The beer selection has a lot of variety, and they offer some non-alcoholic options as well. The staff is usually very friendly, and orders are fulfilled quickly. It's a great spot when the weather is nice. I recently went here after rain and it looked like the staff had wiped off benches so people could sit which is good.
We went here for the first time last weekend, and we loved it. Great beer selection, friendly staff, wonderful atmosphere, and the perfect spot for a hot day. Walking through a cool mist with beers in hand, right before you find a place to sit, was welcomed on a 90+ degree day.I went on Amazon and bought this amazing misting hose attachment while we sat and drank our beers. Message me if you want the product details You can rent games such as chess, checkers, Jenga, etc. And set up shop at a picnic table with friends. Highly recommend!
This spot is enjoyable particularly because you can bring in outside food and dogs! The crowd is always chill and approachable. They have games you can use if you give them your ID they give it back when you give the game back.
