We loved this campground and are hoping to come back again! It was very clean and well kept. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! We received a ton of informative papers and pamphlets which were great! The lake and area is absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Highly recommended. We kayaked and saw great sights including loons, bald eagles, and caught a bunch of fish.

This Campground is part of the Northern Highlands American Legion State Forest. Northeast of Manitowish Waters, Wisconsin. This Campground has 70 sites and is well known as a trophy fishing lake. This Campground is closely connected to the BATS trail. That means Boulder Junction area trail system it's beautifully paved trails through the wilderness from Manitowish Waters to Boulder Junction to Crystal Lake Campground all the way to Sayner and St. Germain. This Campground has a nice sand beach and the lake is great for kayakers. There's lots of Wildlife including Eagles, Loons, Otters, deer, moose, bear, turtles, owls, coyotes,  and ducks.
