Best pizza in Sylvan Lake by far! If you're hungry and got that craving for a dough hit, this is the place to go. The XL pizza is massive and well priced! Fed five hungry friends with three XL pizzas and still had plenty of leftovers for the next day. Ingredients are fresh and tasty, the sauce has a great flavour, and the dough is incredible. Might be one of the best doughs I have had at a takeout pizza place. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. The only knock against this place is the vegetarian pizza was a little too wet making the dough towards the middle of the pizza a bit soggy. This is undoubtedly my new pizza spot!
EDIT: what I said about the food hasn't changed. However, this is the third time I have travelled from Edmonton for some awesome pizza and the place is closed inside its business hours. Please remove the hours from Google and your website when your times are not reliable. Amazing pizza just like home. While you wait you can enjoy great conversation with the staff they are all wonderful. Everything on the menu is well priced. I'm hoping to hear they are going to open a shop in Edmonton, save me the drive!
Really good food but maybe the worst business hours I've ever seen. Several times now I've been disappointed by them because either they're not open at all or they've decided to shut down shop for the entire afternoon. Who orders pizza in the afternoon right?. Fix your SPECIAL hours. If something is only good for 24 hours of an entire week, is it really any good?
The Donair Pizza is just amazing. Yum : Love the crust! Love Big Daddy’s! We had a donair from here a month ago and it was also spectacular! The pepperoni pizza is my fav tho, it was loaded with meat and super yummy!
*update* To your reply big daddies. When I say the owner magically appeared. We called and the young lady who answered the phone aggressively said, the owner is on his way to your hotel and hung up. Then all the sudden you called. We had a hotel with a young toddler, dealing with the aggressive phone calls and delivery driver coming back was ridiculous. Especially since nothing was resolved and we had to get something from a fast food restaurant. As for the wings, I was informed you deep fried them, anywhere I have asked for wings to be a bit well done, they have never came black. But thank you for your reply and taking zero fault and making it ours. I placed an order at 5:45. After an hour and half the pizza arrived. The order was wrong, the wings were burnt with no sauceI asked for honey garlic and it was very cold. we called 6 times after being hung up on 5 times, magically the manager was there after being told he wasn’t. He got upset on the phone because HIS driver told us not to pay and he went back and told his boss we aggressively stole the pizza.... the manager called us 3 times asking for the same story - that being said they came back to pick up our food. Overall, this is the worst experience
New to Sylvan lake and thought I would try some off brand pizza joints. That how you find the good pizza right? Not in this case. Waited over an hour and got some pretty bland pizza. Next to no sauce or toppings. Crust was dry and burnt. Pretty disappointing for pizza that was that that expensive. Sad.
Pizza is always great. Really great price. Big sizes. Love that an extra large feeds a family of 5 with left overs. I tried their donair wrap and for myself it was terrible. It was literally dry meat in a wrap. I am talking like the smallest teeniest tiny amount of sauce on the bottom of the wrap and if I am lucky if there was a teaspoon and onions and tomatoes. If your from the east coast you will be extremly dissapointed. I thought they forgot the sauce it was that dry and the veggies till I looked and seen this teenie small amount on the bottom. Super dissapointed. I heard this place was like out east donairs, but I will never try another donair there. But again great pizza !
Called two separate days at dinner time wanting to try as we saw great reviews. At 6:30 they already had a voicemail saying they were closed and see you Sunday. We will not try calling a third time. Ended up ordering at pizza 73.
Big Daddys is a Cape Breton, Nova Scotia legendary pizza, they are complimentary to their customers and extremely friendly to their staff. Closest thing you will find to an east coast pizza that you will find in Alberta. PS they sell Dave's hot sauce which you will never beat for hot sauce. GO HERE.
Good pizza. But fell apart when i picked it up. Delicious crust. You can tell it homemade . Just need to be able to hold it ..it falls apart bc the dough is so skinny. Lol . Very tasty tho
