I have finally bought my first car ever and I want to thank Better Used Cars for making this experience SO AWESOME!!! Major shout out to Eugene who was incredibly helpful, knowledgable and kind. He walked me through everything I needed to know and watch out for as a first time car owner. I had been looking for a car for a while and visited other dealerships on Bank street but felt the most comfortable at Better Used Cars. They also had a large stock and selection in regards to the type of car I was looking for hyundai/toyota/honda sedan providing me many options to test drive and choose from. I liked how Sal and Nittin were not pushy at all and wanted to ensure I was fully happy with the car of my choice. They were both lovely to deal with. Other dealerships had mentioned they give no warranties on used cars, but I was able to purchase a couple year warranty that covers all major aspects of the vehicle providing me with peace of mind at Better Used Cars. I have been driving a lot and I am very happy with my new car and have had zero issues. Thank you for helping me find a safe, reliable and beautiful car that fits within my budget. Excellent Value for Money! We found that Better Used Cars had an excellent inventory and I appreciated that they were open to negotiating to meet my budget. They were able to process the sale in less than 2 days which was awesome. We did have a minor issue with the windshield washer fluid dispenser not working - which I should have checked beforehand and I think maybe should have been found during the safety inspection. Anyway, we bought the part and Eugene graciously installed it for us and provided a refunded. We've had the car for a few weeks and are very pleased with purchase and post-purchase customer service.
The experience I had at this used car dealership far exceeded my expectations. Not only were they able to get me far better financing than I could have predicted but they bent over backwards to get me the vehicle quickly. They even had someone go to the dealership so I could get the car after hours just to accommodate my work schedule. I felt a little skeptical at first as I had never dealt with this dealer before but I ended up finding them to be ethical and very accommodating. I've been recommending them ever since.
Amazing experience with this dealership. We were on budget to get a reliable car and after going to dealership being told that because of lack of credit we had to pay 22.5% interest on a car we never wanted, Chantal and Eugene found us the exact car we were looking for at a very affordable rate and treated us like family. Thank you so much for restoring our faith in delearships. 100% would recommend to purchase a car from them!
-I spent $735 on repairs to my car on gear shift problems that started the month I bought it that were not covered by the warranty. The car only started in neutral and rolled in park. -They told me the monthly price we agreed on included tax but it didn't. -It came with 2 sets of tires and when I put on the summer set they were completely bald with no rims so now I have to buy a new set - probably my mistake for not checking but the sales staff were so pushy I just wanted to get out of there. Now I have a crappy car that I resent every time I look at it. Would not recommend!
Best car buying experience, I have ever had. Very professional, and spectacular service. Eugene and Chantal had put in an amazing effort finding me the right car, I ended up with the Pontiac G6 GT, to this day the car is in pristine condition and no problems at all, now I'm going for exchange for the Infiniti G37. Very trustworthy dealership and I would recommend it to anyone in the Ottawa area. Also big thanks to Chantal for the great help explaining and making buying a car and financing so easy and very quick!
Great customer service. They genuinely care about the customer. And that is a lot coming from a used car place. Most places I tried just wanted to hustle, and charge me extra for features and random things. I dealt wit Amar and he is great. Very considerate and down to earth. It was great to have shopped around and been helped by him. He even got my car serviced while I was waiting for insurance to kick in. Which was an added twist. I HIGHLY recommend this place.
Overall I had a great experience with Better Used Cars. The staff treated me in a friendly way and weren't too pushy. They were very interested in making a deal that worked for me and took care of all the issues we identified with the car after the test drive. I'll also say that they went out of their way to fix a problem they didn't have to that came up shortly after I bought the car. The whole process was without hassles and I felt that I was being listened to. We bought a 2009 Mazda 5 from them and I would do business with them again. One tip: Do your research on the GLOBALi theft deterrent system before going there, so you know if that's something you want or not.
I recently purchased my Mazda Tribute from Better Used Cars. I dealt solely with Chantal Pantalone, and let me tell you, she is PHENOMENAL! Not only did she listen to every worry and fear, want and need, she made it all so EASY! I was a first time buyer at any dealership and was so worried about what I would pay for interest, warranty etc. She worked some kind of magic though and got me everything I wanted for a killer deal. The best part is she got me financed through my own bank! I am so grateful to this woman for not only amazing service, but for making my first ever car purchasing experience memorable in the best way. Thank you ever so much Chantal, you are an amazing asset to the dealership, and you can be sure that I will give your name out to anyone who is looking for a new car and great service. You can bet that I will be a return customer!
The service was friendly and comprehensive. Eugene, Chantal and Nitin are a pleasure to deal with. They had a lot of cars to choice from and reasonable prices. Their no pressure tactics make for a relaxed car buying experience. I would recommend Better Used Cars for your next vehicle purchase.
