While the hotel room was clean, it was not actually a suite. There was no sink in the "kitchen" area. The manager was probably the rudest hotel desk person I have encountered at any hotel of any price range. We had an event to attend at 4pm nearby and asked if it was possible to get into any room of any type by 3 or 3:30 in order to change. The check in time for this hotel is 4pm and he lectured us that no rooms would be available until 4pm because housekeeping needed all the time to clean the rooms. A simple check of the computer for available rooms and a "sorry none are ready yet" would have sufficed. Update: I wanted to give credit to Tom from the hotel who reached out to me to discuss this. I appreciate that he takes the time to look at the reviews of his hotel and is taking an interest in improving things. This is very rare today so I wanted to ensure that this post is updated with this. I am increasing my rating due to this.

They were willing to allow early check in and were patient as our plans changed to an eventual late check in. Ray at the front desk was very polite and kind. The room was clean, very large, mini fridge was appreciated, and the beds were very comfortable! The bathroom was surprisingly large as well. We were on the 2nd floor, it was quiet both above us and outside our room. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is very all around comfortable to stay in. The staff is friendly and welcoming, it is clean and smells fresh. The BEDS are comfy, cozy and allowed me to feel very rested and ache free in the morning, much much better than my bed at home! Thank you! The breakfast was yummy and abundant! Don't forget to ask at the front desk for FREE PASSES to the fun POOL down the street!

I highly recommend don’t go to this hotel. Wifi sucks. There is no view or something. It smells bad and stinks. Breakfast is rotten. There is no facilities. Elevator doesn’t work. There is no plug to put charger for your phone. It gets scary at night. I heard scary noises at night.

I got stuck with a pet room (only room anywhere within an hour's drive). This room was okay and superficially nice. Slight kennel oder which I expected from a pet friendly room, I'm not marking any stars off for the pet room. It seemed sanitary and overall the room was really spacious and tolerable. -2 stars for tiny, lame pillows and dreary, prison-like hallways. I know the hallways shouldn't matter but they did. Probably not going back. If your not too picky or on a budget it's probably a good hit. Just don't plan on impressing anyone by bringing them here on vacation. P.s. rude staff
