Best Coin Laundry

I've lived in the area for about 6 years and have always gone to this laundromat, since I have no laundry at my place. The facilities have always been clean and I have never had a problem. The new owners are very friendly and polite, as is the woman that works there full-time. She is always pleasant and happy to help. The one thing I would mention is that if you are going after 7 pm, when they leave if you need detergent, etc from the coin-operated machine is it takes a loonie.

This place is under new management now. Issues with CLEANLINESS! Opens till 12AM, staff member leaves early in the evening, thus customers will not have access to WATER, towel & washroom. They also keep the door closed as air condition is working, keeping the inside hot air (from dryers) within the unit & not letting the fresh air come in, causing headaches, dehydration for those who're inside. ONE towel in the washroom for everyone to use, no paper towels!! They also increased the price after taking over from previous owner.

I used to go to this laundromat because of its cleanliness and reasonable prices for large load washers, however since the replacement of management and staff last year, I have stopped going because of the ridiculous $1.00 increase in the large load and absolutely rude staff member, a elderly south Asian lady. I walked in one day with a king sized comforter and was shocked by the sudden rise in prices. Even overall inflation hasnt increased the way the prices have in this place. I decided that I would go down the street and use the washer at another nearby laundromat. Keep in mind, I walked in quietly with my items, and attempted to walk out in the same fashion, until I was called out by the lady at the front desk, questioning why I did not want to use the washer. I simply stated that the price was not what I was expecting and that I would not need to use their washer. I was baffled that I was being questioned. Her response to me was that she had the lowest price and began to argue. For what though? I hadn't complained, hadn't shown my disapproval and was leaving without a word. The previous management was so nice and friendly. This lady stares you down as if you're going to shove a washing machine in your laundry basket and walk out. Fornutaely for me I have a washing machine and dryer at home and occasionally wash bigger items at laundromats. But it's saddening to see small successful community businesses take advantage of local residents by squeezing every 'quarter' out of your shirt or pant pockets. This is a service business. Believe me, the service was terrible.

The first thing that struck me about this facility was the cleanliness. The place is well kept, spacious and has washing machines to fit double, max and mega loads. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Prices are reasonable and suit the quality of the service you get. Overall, had good experience and I would go there again.

Very clean, however you only have access to water when the owner is there, but the laundry closes after 11pm so it's open late 7 days a week
