I recently visited the St. James Geek Squad for assistance with my laptop and IPhone. I had a great experience. I would like to thank Trien for his excellent service. He was very friendly, polite, and incredibly knowledgeable. He worked hard to ensure everything was working to my satisfaction. He really knows his stuff and was very patient with me. I would highly recommend Trien to anyone looking for help with technical issues. He is dedicated to providing first class customer service.
Worst experience I have had. We dropped in looking for house appliances on a Saturday. Store did not look busy, not many shoppers. Browsed around no one came to ask if we had any questions or see how we are doing. Another couple came to the same area, they were instantly greeted, and they were shown a few washer and dryer combinations. That is when I decided to leave and take my business else where. That same day we made a purchase with a different company.
Walked into the store around 1145. Hardly any customers, ready to give someone money for a watch. I waited at the counter for 10 minutes with nobody in the area to help. I walked to customer service to ask for someone so I could buy a watch. They asked me to go wait by the counter for assistance. I can see best buy team members standing around other departments. Another 10 minutes and nobody came. BestBuy ignored $700+ worth of sales today.
Went to purchase a laptop and was given inflated prices for the additional protection compared to what is posted on the website, staff quoted me $610 for the 4-year protection. Ended up going to Apple and had a much better customer experience. I will think twice before going to this location for future purchases.
First time buying from Best Buy Canada ever. Excellent experience.nI purchased a V-Tech, three phones, on Sale, ordered yesterday 2 am, delivered next day, today, at 10:30 am !. Sealed and therefore first to open. I recognize a ‘from factory’ seal.nSuper phone. Didn’t take long to charge.nI love this phone X 3 set.nThank you Best Buy.nItem packaged well in a separate box and well protected.
