The prices a fair and the line can get very long so pack your patience, stopped in for a visit yesterday the staff all have smiling faces and are very nice to talk with. They bring out ice cream on the side of the door. The sitting area is very nice, the scenery around is so pleasing and on top of that ICE CREAM!!! The ice cream is very creamy and delicious. They offer plenty of napkins and my children's favorite perk was the sidewalk chalk they have for children to decorate the patio area. Will definitely come back for a new established weekly visit.
Frosty Boy is one of Belleville's local treasures. Their ice cream, sorbet and yogurt delights are creamy scrumptiousness. Their service is friendly and fast. If there is a line, it is well with your short wait.
My first time at Frosty Boy! It was one of the hotter days and I ordered a baby cone dipped in chocolate, just the right size for me to get through before it melted lol. Fast, friendly service, good prices and I saw Snickers flurries on the menu which made me very happy!
My boyfriend went to pickup some ice cream for us. First of all he couldn't get anyone to sell him a cookie which seems ridiculous. Once he had purchased the ice cream tried to get a cookie and they kept sending him to different windows, he eventually gave up. When he got home his "banana boat" had no banana. Certainly not going back!!!
Nicely remodeled, seating is fenced off from the parking lot, new tables, overhead lights for a nice nighttime atmosphere, reasonable prices. I had the Take 5 sundae.
Have always enjoyed coming here. The new owners had indeed done a wonderful job with the renovation and appears to run much better with the changes.
We have had great service each time we've went. The line always looks ling but it doesn't usually take too long to get through. Very delicious and creative treats.
Normally a great spot to grab ice cream with the family. But our first trip this year was not up to the typical standard. The glacier my wife ordered was subpar this time. Too much blue razz syrup & minimum vanilla soft-serve. Let's hope it was just a fluke.
Way better than some options such as Dairy Queen which is more well known. There are plenty of different options, varieties, and the ice cream is delicious. Staff is friendly and helpful. Lines can be crazy at times, but it is worth the wait and they move the line quicker than most fast food places in this area. It is cheaper than Dairy Queen being in Belleville downtown it is easy to get into. A lot of people walk to get ice cream so parking hasn't been an issue surprisingly even if it's packed. People tend to park at the bank next door after bank hours if there is no parking but there is also on the street parking as well. It's one of the better businesses in downtown Belleville and a great reason to go to Downtown Belleville and return there frequently. If you are craving ice cream, flurries, or other types of desserts this is a great location to get good sweets for a good price. This place has a homely feeling and makes you want to return. It is nice to see the staff members appear to be happy and a lot of people tip the employees so they stick around and you get to know a lot of the employees that work there. I would recommend this place to friends or anyone alike. I think that it is one of the best businesses in it's class and one of the things holding downtown Belleville together right now. I have been coming here for over a few years and it has stayed the same quality since the first time I went there. You order outside at a window near the front and pickup your ice cream at a window on the left side of the building. I think it runs relatively smoothly and the lines go fast even when they are super busy. It is super boring even if there is a line because people usually bring their dogs or something interesting is going on downtown that can capture my attention while waiting. Really nice location to go if you are in the area.
Love this place!! Such a cute and family oriented experience the owners have created. We've tried several things off the menu and have never been disappointed. The weekly specials that the staff created this summer were so tasty and creative. We looked forward for what was coming week to week. We drive past several other ice cream shops to go there!! Portions and prices are better than other places I've been.
