We had a wonderful stay. The sites are lovely treed, some sites have ocean view. Long beach walks every morning and afternoon. Town centre is close by - we took a Whistle Cab into town. So many pathways to walk and trails for bikes.
Good campsite though the sites are all really close to one another. Staff is nice, wifi isn’t strong that’s why most people spent time in the laundry room cause that’s where all the service was. You have to pay $2 per 3 minutes of hot water to shower. beach view was super beautiful overall good place to stay.
Cute beach. Lots of room in most sites. Fairly private. Annoying that you can't just take a site but have to run around and view all available via one way roads, just to find out half were taken while you were out getting lost on the roads of this giant site. Most tenting sites are definitely big enough for van camping, if you don't need electric.
Sites are well kept, seems like staff try to separate families away from partiers. No fires at the time we visited. However, saw a few fires in camp sites and on Beach which concerned is due to the high fire risk.de Propane firepits allowed and should be encouraged. Only drawbacks is only 3 bathroom/shower sites in whole camp ground. Center facilities have pay for use washer and dryer $3 each Dog owners should be held responsible for cleaning up after their dogs and keep on leash even on beach.
Very clean and the stairs and washrooms have good lighting was quite at night ..the hot water shower was hot but does cost a toonie for 2 minutes...wifi weak often off but hey camping next to the ocean: was a fantastic 4 nights there Restrooms: Very clean
Great camp spot! We parked our camper van in a waterfront spot and a short walk to the beach. Bathrooms and common were well kept and staff was friendly. Would recommend to book in advance as it was quite full! Definitely check out Lil Ronnie’s BBQ which was right next to the campground!
Amazing. What a beautiful place to camp. The trees are so large, there's a small stream along many of the camp sites, you can hear the waves, people are very respectful of quiet time, very clean and serviced bathrooms with showers coin operated. One of the most beautiful campsites in canada.
We booked this site half a year ago insane and it was worth the wait : What better than having the beach as your backyard. The camping site is divided by trees so that there is privacy. The bathrooms and showers are clean for camping standard I didn't take a shower here b/c I was too cold. During the summer, there is campfire ban due to forest fires so pls respect the rule! This site is huge. Dont bother setting an alarm - the ravens and steller jays will do the job. Next time, we would to get the ocean view spots ..maybe booking 2 years ahead?
The beach access is great, campsites are small and many are quite overgrown and muddy. The table was gross and the site not clean. Seems to lacking some TLC. The $2 for 2 minutes shower are a scam as hot water was not present. Wifi, although advertised, was simply not accessible. Luckily there was cell coverage.
Very nice campsite. Super close to town. Nice beaches. Most sites are nestled between the trees. We were in 83 which was fairly private but you can see and hear neighbours. Our site had a 30amp hookup which was nice. The front desk has an adapter you can use for a $50 cash deposit that they will return. Having power at our tent site was a nice luxury. Staff was super friendly. Bella also had wifi at some of the washrooms. Washrooms were clean. Showers use toonies. Only complaint I have is they have a dirt road between the main road and the front desk area. This means if you’re biking into town, things can get dusty when people drive past you with a vehicle. Lots of the other campsites we drove past in tofino had pavement so I think they can do it too. Overall, great location and will come back in the future!
