Beaverland Lodge

I've had to edit my review. First, the people who own the camp were nice and friendly, as well as most of the people. There is a problem. The camp is run down. Our cabin as old, and in need of repair. Old plywood floor, and mattresses that have seen better days. There was a new oven, but a basic gas one. The docks are in need of replacement. But that is not the part that causes the edit. What is causing the edit is the owners had added a $50 fee to our bill on checkout for fuel we did not purchase. It turned out to be another cabin's fuel bill. Took them a while to fix, but it was. Then, after getting home and checking the emailed recept against what was paid, they had added a $300 clean up charge. I personally ran a broom through the small 600 sq foot cabin and ensured it was clean. They said it took them 6 hours to clean up the cabin after we left. Sounds strange, for a small cabin would not take that long to clean, even if they needed to vacumm which they should be doing. They said they needed to rewash all the dishes. Strange. Our group of three only used the same 4 plates, 3 mugs, and 3 glasses. Does not make sense. I'm ticked, for if they needed to rewash all the dishes, then they gave it to us dirty. Will not be going there again.

My son and I had a great time at Beaverland. Sara, Mitch and Richard were all friendly and welcoming. Our rustic cabin was exceptionally clean, comfortable and well stocked. The rental boat was great. I would not hesitate to return.

What a beautiful place. The stars are so brilliant in the sky. It is a wonderful place.well set up for families to singles. Sara, Mitch and Richard are wonderful hosts. The cabins are spotless and the grounds are clean and well maintained.

Great, clean lodges and fun for the whole family! Couldn't ask for anything more in a family getaway! Very nice and helpful hosts in Sara, Mitch and Richard. Definitely coming back with the family!

We just enjoyed a great relaxing week at Beaverland Lodge. Mike and Lori are great people, they are so down to earth. If you need something all you have to do is ask. The fishing has been fun even off the dock. Marten lake is just a short boat ride away. Yes you can even rent a boat and buy worms. The scenery is great you may want to have a telephoto lens to get photos of the Eagles that land on the rock in front of the beach. The beach has some inflated structures for the kids to climb and jump off. This isn't a hotel, but you have a full kitchen, a BBQ, beds and bathroom. There are even laundry facilities and a building to clean your fish. Thank You Mike and Lori we had a great time. The Tsetsekas family.

My husband and I enjoyed a relaxing, peaceful and fun week at Beaverland Camp. It is in a spectacularly beautiful setting. Our cottage was quaint yet equipped with everything we needed kitchen supplies, microwave, stove, fridge, etc.. Modern shower, comfortable beds, screened-in porch overlooking the lake. Restaurant less than a mile away; Trading Post store and post office/LCBO only 4 miles away. The owners could not have been friendlier or more helpful. The rec hall has satellite TV, if you miss TV -- which you really won't. We have plans to return next summer with more family members. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!

Very rustic, usually good fishing , Laurie and Mike are owners and they are great. Nice beach to swim and beautiful scenery. Been coming up for at least 10 years . Love it.

I was at Beaverland last weekend for our annual spring fishing trip. Great fishing and great fun! While there, I had some boat issues and Lori went way above and beyond by searching on the internet to help us diagnose the problem. Lori's help was instrumental in getting us back on the water and fishing. Thanks so much! Another great example of customer service. One of the reasons we go back year after year! Thanks Lori!

Beaverland is awesome! A must go! Beautiful place to have fun. The owners go out of there way for you. I can't express just how awesome this place really is. If you love the outdoors and enjoy playing on the lake, hunting, or fishing.... Then you want to come here.
