The Sturgeon River takes center stage at this new KOA, flowing right through the heart of the campground and into nearby Lake Nipissing. With its own on-site marina, the campground makes it easy to get out on the water. Explore the shorelines in one of the marina's rental kayaks / canoes, or sign on for one of the guided river tours. Rent an aluminum runabout and spend the day fishing on Lake Nipissing or the nearby upper French River, world-class waters for muskie, northern pike, walleye and bass. Brought your own boat? Tie up to one of the 50 seasonal or transient boat slips in a nicely sheltered inlet of the river. Roomy pull thru RV sites are just a short stroll to the river's edge, and the tent sites are along the riverbank. This KOA has ample facilities for group gatherings, including group RV areas and a new lodge with game rooms and a camp store.
