I give this 5 stars because it was a very nice family oriented campground. We enjoyed camping there, and every night there b different things for my kids to do. And the managers and camp Host was super nice, anything we needed they would get it for us. I would recommend this campground to any family. I will diffentely b there again.

Good fishing access, nice camping spots and has a recreation center and many other things.. decent prices on your stay there..

Used to be such a well cared for lovey place to camp. Now sadly lawns overgrown, playground dilapidated or non existent,  mud holes in camp sites. Also it is nearly impossible to elicit a response when trying to contact caretaker to make a reservation. 
So very sad Alpena County has let this gem sink so low on their priority list.
