Story

At the Bear Tooth Theatrepub, you can eat a full meal while watching your favorite films! We offer freshly prepared food (think pizzas, burritos, and a myriad of other delights) made from local ingredients when possible, draft beer from Broken Tooth Brewing, wine, and margaritas. Once inside the theatre, you’ll find 275 seats with tables in front of them. For the under-21 crowd, there is also a balcony seating area with tables for enjoyment of everything except the booze.

If you want the Bear Tooth experience without the movie, make yourself comfortable in our cafe-style dining area outside the theatre. Not in the mood to leave the house? Call in your order and our To-Go staff will attempt to make all your takeout dreams come true.

Went there for the theater and food experience for the first time last night. IT WAS GREAT! the food was excellent and I love that you get to sit and watch your movie, while eating great food and having an excellent beer. I will DEFINITELY be going back on all my visits to Anchorage. The only reason for the 4 stars is that you can tell it has been a while since there was any updated or love to the building but I love it!

The best place in town to watch a cheap movie with a great beer. Bear Tooth is in a great location, but still there is not enough parking here. Nearly every time I'm here I see someone get towed away across the street. The movies are popular and the times the movies are shown are perfect for families and single people to attend. The concerts sound great, but the airflow is still not enough to keep the temperature comfortable. You can't go wrong with a night at Bear Tooth or the Grill next door.

Absolutely the best Nachos in town! On the Grill side, favorite afternoon location for great food and relaxed atmosphere, monthly specials are a must sample. Best cocktails are the Skinny Margarita (not from a mix) it's fresh and perfectly tart; Cocoa Picante Martini - spicy tequila chocolate heaven. 🍸

I love the vibe at the Bear Tooth Theatre, and for that matter, their sister restaurant, the Moose's Tooth. You get such a real, low-key, good feeling when you visit. Art house Mondays are my favorite at the BT, but concerts and late release hits, as well as debates are enjoyed too. The prices of admission are friendly, and I truly appreciate being able to have an adult beverage with my dinner and a movie, and Broken Tooth brews deserve a nod. Tip - consider when ordering to get food you can eat in the dark, e.g. pizza, wraps and tacos are easy; nachos or a loose leaf salad may leave you wondering where that last forkful tumbled to...

I went to this theater with my brother and right of the bat I knew this place was special and different. We got our tickets for our showing, ordered a pizza and some brew, and went into the showing area where there's tons of seats and tables to sit at. We sat down, started enjoying the previews, movie and our brew before we were delivered an excellent pizza. The sound and picture quality was great and so was the service and food. The only downside is that the atmosphere could use a little love. Besides that, I had an exquisite time.
