The Seasider Restaurant was the highlight of our stay at Beach Gardens Resort in Powell River. The food, service and ambience was fabulous. Our room was clean and spacious. The over all feel was a bit run down. The phone was out of service and we paid $10/day extra for a frig and microwave in our room, which is normally included in the price of rooms, not extra. No luggage racks and due to bad backs we grabbed deck chairs to hold our bags off the floor. The laundry facility on site was nice. Basics. Not a "resort " feel, but okay.

A decent hotel for a stay over in Powell River. Hotel staff are friendly and willing to advise on local attractions. The seaside apartments have excellent views of the harbour. There is a bumpy driveway due to tree roots, use caution when coming down or leaving so you don't bottom out your vehicle. Pricing is decent. They have wifi that is good enough for work, and social media, but prolonged streaming might be too much. There is clear sound between units. It is super close to a liquor store below and a wine bar. They have a pool and there is a fitness center nearby that has drop in rates for the hotel. Parking is readily available, they are on some transit routes but transit is infrequent. They are about an 8 minute walk from a decent grocery store and a good coffee shop.

The room was amazing! The view from my private balcony was even better and the indoor pool was the cherry on top 😃 the room had a comfortable queen size bed and a fold out couch. I had 4 huge pillows and all the blankets I could ever need. I had full controll of the heat in the room. I was able to park right outside my door which was a plus for me. The room was very quiet and comforatable. The price was perfect and staff were friendly. I will be staying here from now on when I visit PR.

Great place to watch the Sunset on the Patio and good food and service at the seasider!
