BC Liquor Stores

Friendly dude at the checkout on a Friday evening was eager to give advice about the products they carry! Appreciated the good vibes. Prices better than other liquor stores obviously as it’s a government store.

The gentleman was kind in letting us know that the store was closing soon. However, young lady at the cash register was less than helpful. For a location that has a lot of customers that are not normally from BC, it would have been helpful to say what “second ID” was acceptable. In today’s day and age where people always carry their credit/debit card an acceptable second ID, it would have been easy to say we can use that as second ID instead of turning us away. I guess she wanted to go home already ‍

I wouldn't want to give a single star if it wasn't for the lack of this option. It's a complete zero on the scale. The waiter's attitude was extremely bad, the worst shop assistant I've encountered in a month in Vancouver with the worst service attitude, very impolite and very rude, I'd like to know why you need to check your ID card after checking your passport, do you carry your ID card for domestic use even when you're abroad instead of your passport? Very bad shopping experience, simply the worst shopping experience I've had in Vancouver in a month. I can't forget the arrogance and rudeness of this waitress for the next 10 years. I think the owner should focus on training his staff on service awareness!

Friendly staff, they carry most products and have a cold zone. It's definitely a great local store to frequent..
