BC Liquor Stores

Unions earn all the money at the sacrifice of their workers. Holding the Public hostage from services for their own benefit will only raise prices that the average consumer cannot afford.

Good selection, awful staff. The lady serving me today was so miserable and also slammed my receipt on the desk.

Must agree with other reviewers here, this is not the friendliest place to shop. When compared to the BCLC at Jericho, which is crazy friendly and amazing service – I’d almost rather have self-checkout. Just saying.

Visit most days. Mostly friendly and helpful employees.

The variety has alway been great here. The place may seem a little small from the outside but it has a great selection.

Great selection helpful staff

Judgemental staff. While I was taking a few drinks home, for no apparent reason the person at service desk told that he had already called the police on me. It would've been more appropriate to simply decline services if he had reasonable doubt. I was sober and perplexed. Not sure whether I look funny.

The selection is huge but there are some really unpleasant employees at this particular store. One memorable time I shopped here was the time a very grumpy elderly checker held up the line for about 10 minutes demanding every form of ID I had and trying to convince the manager to kick me out. For the record, the manager did not see any problem with selling to me and seemed like a very nice person. I love this store's selection but I avoid it because this sort of thing seems to happen every time. I prefer the location on Dunbar because the employees are much more friendly in general.

Not a bad liquor store, as far as liquor stores go. What is better at this liquor store than other liquor stores I've been to recently is the staff attitude and service. Speedy, polite, efficient, just an all around pleasurable experience.
