We made reservations for a Saturday evening supper. I'm really glad we did make reservations. I sat at our table watching the owner Glen bus tables, run food, tend bar and I'm still so impressed by that. I ordered steak and shrimp with my steak cooked medium rare with mushrooms and onions. They didn't skimp on that for sure. The owner stopped at our table checking to make sure we didn't need anything else. I told him that my steak was over cooked. He asked me to cut in the middle of my Ribeye and quickly agreed with me. He told me he would replace it and told me it would be about 5 minutes. He then came back to our table and asked if I wanted my mushrooms and onions heated because my steak was just about done. He brought my supper shortly after that. He again stopped by our table and he said he made an adjustment to our ticket. My steak was mind-blowing to say the least. So Glenn if you're reading this. Thank you so much. You're restaurant is the only place in Red Wing to have an amazing steak dinner.
One of my new faves! Mindy was the BOMB! Pickle fries and Pistachio Cream Ale and The Beast are musts!! Unfortunately the patio was closed due to construction, so looking forward to the next time. Great swag and pie too! Parking: Lots of space to park big trucks and extended hour parking.
Excellent food, great service, friendly people! The host squeezed our family in right before dinner rush, even though we didn't get a reservation. Service was quality and timely. Great variety on the menu and food was prepared perfectly! Heather was a great server! Awesome view of the river from our booth. Kid-friendliness: Kid menu, staff had a lot of fun interacting with our son. Parking: Street parking, there was plenty of spaces available at dinner rush.
This restaurant is an excellent option for many different occasions. It is a sports bar with better food and a good selection of drinks. I really enjoy the rib eye, which comes in a 10 ounce or 16 ounce, and my wife likes the steak on a stick. When my mom came to town I had to take her to Bayside. Local favorite spot! The service was friendly and fast. The food was fresh, hot and mouthwateringly tasty. The spices on that Cajon chicken sandwich gave your tongue a taste bud delight. And those fresh handmade burgers are some of the best around. Although I'm not happy with the town for how they positioned the bridge going into next door that messed up the beautiful view of the river well see what it looks like when the bridge is finished. All in all great drinks, delicious food, small town atmosphere. I like this place. So good that when Jay Lenno came to town this is where he ate. Try the steaks!
Interior was nice. Staff was super polite and friendly. Great service. Food was delicious and came fast. Ordered the broiled walleye. Excellent! I am on a strict diet for medical issues, they had options that works for many diets. Highly recommend! Gorgeous views in summer on the river with outdoor dining and cocktails it looks like Dietary restrictions: Low carb gluten free options with side choices as well

We were blown away by food and service at the Bayside Tap & Steakhouse! Our server, Angie, was so hospitable and attentive. We had an order of seasoned fries with Gouda dip for an appetizer, and Buffalo chicken sandwich and ribeye steak for an entree. I wish I took a picture of my beautiful steak made to order. We highly recommend this restaurant! Can’t wait to go back!
We have been to this establishment many times and we are never disappointed. We decided to try out their fish fry and once again, the food was great. They had baked potatoes as an option which was an instant win for me. Their coleslaw was zesty and the fried fish was also tasty. The price was very reasonable. We will return again.
We went for Sunday lunch for my father-in-law's birthday. Best steak he's had on awhile! Also, that Onion Gouda burger should be illegal its so good! Great people you got there Food: 5/5
