Bayliss Park

I enjoy the park at least once a week. The park is always kept very nice. The gardens are great. The people that use the park are a very dirverce crowd. In the six years I have lived in C.B. I have not seen any trouble at the park. That says a lot about the folks of C.B. However I have noticed a decline in Christmas Dercarations. That is sad because The park brings folks to town. They may decide to eat or just have coffee. That brings money. Gets folks to thinking there is more to C.B than casinos. I would think C.B would go over the top to make Bayliss a must see destination. That would bring more businesses. And help the city to prosper. C.B could grab a lot of business from Omaha. The old market supports many different stores. C.B could do the same. C.B has a great small town feel. Omaha has defiantly a big city look and trouble. I don't think I'm the first to have this type of ideas.

The festivals there throughout the summer are fun. There is a tiny sign posted on the east end of park that says it's a code violation to go into the fountain, so visitors approaching the central fountain from the other three directions are unaware of the city code. Kids often try to climb into the water and climb up the steps. The city needs to post four signs in each direction to make honest, unsuspecting people aware.

Beautiful downtown water features with historic monuments and informative plaques where you can read about some of the history of the area. Nice, family friendly environment where a nice picnic with family and friends is perfectly executed on the weekends. ~KK~

It's a nice park with a beautiful water fountain that Lights all different colors They occasionally hold fun, free events and it's even a peaceful place to just go sit underneath some shade to relax or read a book!!!

Its beautiful led fountain is nice. During fall/winter holidays its decorated with many beautiful snowflakes, lights, and white light illuminated trees up and down the paths.
