Linda and John were amazing to deal with through the whole process of purchasing a vehicle. Linda was friendly and couldn't do enough for me and John was amazing. Such a friendly knowledgeable guy. Very happy to help. They even came and picked me up at the car rental place when I dropped off my insurance vehicle. I would definitely be happy to deal with them again.

I was living in Grey Bruce and about to move back to Guelph and I tried to buy a car from Linwood Auto. While I was still in GB I was sending emails back and forth and I told them the car I wanted and asked for a final price to get a loan going. I told them when I would be in town to finish the purchase and test drive the car, which was about 10 days from the last email I sent. The day I got to town I sent another email asking what time I should come by and the response I got was as if they completely forgot we had ever spoken. They also sold the car I said I was going to buy. The last email they sent me, they asked what interest rate I got my loan at. I responded and never heard anything since. Maybe they were mad I didn’t use them to finance the car? Either way, I ended up buying a car from Mark Wilson’s and received excellent service.

Avoid! Purchased a vehicle from them as they had one that I liked for a decent price. They preached about the service they do, this and that. Well 2 weeks into having the vehicle my back breaks needed to be fixed and due to the weather when I purchased it they told me the air conditioner wouldn’t be at full capacity but to try it when the weather was better..well guess what the air conditioner blows warm air even at 20* outside so we sweat inside the car. On top of that my E brake also doesn’t work. I had arranged a day for them to pick up my car, no one showed up, Linda called me almost 2 weeks later and said everyone was sick and arranged another date 3 days later and well it’s been SIX WEEKS and no one has shown up and they won’t take my calls or answer my messages. Honestly don’t know how they have almost 5 stars but trust the 1* reviews you read and go else where. Sad that after purchasing the car I need to put more money into it just for it to be suitable for my self and my 2 years old…

I have purchased many a car/ truck in my days Just recently I had the pleasure to meet and purchase a light truck for my son from Linwood’s. What a great experience!! Friendly professional service. I bought a ranger from them to replace my current work vehicle. The entire experiance was a pleasure from beginning to end. They seem to have a very old school way of running there business that is extreamly rare these days. They deal based on trust rather then the typical high pressure sales tactics you would find at larger dealers. The gentlemen even refused to accept a deposit. I'm extreamly happy with this company and will definatly look to them first on my next vehicle purchase.

I bought a car from them almost 3 years ago. It took me a while to finally decide to write this review, but when I see the rust on my car, I wish I had done this eralier. They gave me one week to have it ready. It took over three. Two months after i got it rust started to show everywhere. My advice: if you want to buy from them, take it to a mechanic before you make a decision.

I've purchased 2 cars through John and Linda, and both times I had nothing but great customer service experiences. They are very personable and fun, and the vehicles I've purchased through them have been in such fantastic condition. I've read 1 review from someone who said that getting repairs through them is a hassle. I have asked for repairs on a car and it was looked after right away, and done properly. I also asked them for help in finding winter tires for a vehicle- John responded within an hour and had found 2 sets of tires for me to choose from and I got them installed the next day during peak season for winter tires. If you're looking for a great car buying experience in Guelph, I'd highly recommend Baycorp!

Don't expect much. I bought a car less than 4 months ago, the starter went on it already. When I called he basically told me that I was on my own and that "they were a dealership not a shop".

I have been a licensed mechanic for nearly 30 years and in that time I have worked for many used car dealers and car lots and know exactly how they operate. Well let me tell you how surprised I was with dealing with John and Linda at Linwood auto. I purchased a 12 year old truck and was expecting a 12 year old truck that met the bare minimum safety standards, what I recieved was a 12 year old truck that was reconditioned to almost new standards. There is the MTO set of standards as to what is considered safe and then there is John's set of standards which goes above and beyond what the MTO expects. When John says they fix it right he means its fixed right. After nearly 30 years in the industry I can honestly say Linwood Auto is one of the best used car dealers out there. Thanks to John and Linda for my great new to me truck.
