Not so great experience with Zachary Silverman and the team during my mortgage application. Did not respond back to any calls during my application process or give me the chance to make changes/edits regarding my loan. I will gladly take my business elsewhere.
I needed help with getting information that was not accessible on-line. I got in touch with a customer representative, Michael Anton, who was admirably courteous, professional and prompt at catering to my needs. Kudos to the IT dept as well, who was able to deliver on my request in record time, even during these harsh Covid times. Congrats to all of you.
The pandemic has hit small businesses very hard. When it hit my business, Bay State Savings Bank and Karin Gaffney, my loan officer, made sure I was taken care of. I cannot say enough great things about the work Karin did on my behalf. She embodied the term "relationship banking" to the point that I moved all of my business to Bay State. Three years ago, we were navigating a moderately complex sale of a former residence prior to purchasing our new home. Given the patient understanding, guidance and thorough communication provided by knowledgeable Bay State professionals, particularly Marc Sanguinetti, Anna Pestana, Jayme Burdett and Sonya Dagnese we confidently managed the process and successfully initiated a new mortgage. Thereafter, we are completely satisfied with the locally serviced, Bay State Savings Bank mortgage experience. Over drafted $19 and got charged $99 in overdraft fees. After I specifically said I wanted to cancel whatever kind of “overdraft protection” policy they have. Taking my money elsewhere because this should be illegal
This bank is so antiquated. Cannot do anything online including ACH's even changing your address. They make you go to the branch for everything. Telephone support closes at 5 PM. Bank is from the ice ages. If you want modern day conveniences RUN don't walk from here!
The ppl that help you are nice to you and very polite
