Service was amazing. Our waiter was very attentive, knowledgeable and friendly.nFood was typical of a Baton-Rouge experience. Good quality, a little on the high cost for what you get but overall good food and good experience.nnParking is very good st this location.nEasy to get to and good for people with mobility issues.
We came here on a reservation at 20:15 made for my father’s birthday!nFood was beyond delicious, was brought out to our table fast and we left the restaurant very well satisfied. I’ll leave a few pictures I took of everything everyone at the table ordered. An absolute recommend on my part! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.nService gets 3 stars simply because it was ‘alright’, there was nothing special about it and we were never introduced to our waitress, she seemed a bit shy, and a few cups if water did stay empty for a while. Other than that the staff was nice and did bring a little dessert for my father since it was his birthday
Honestly, this place has gone downhill in quality since 2-3 years ago. Service was fine.nnWe ordered 2 main courses and 2 appetizers.nn1. The spinach dipnChips were completely stale and literally smelled like old oil. The Dip itself was okay.nn2. Crispy Brussel sprouts.nneed to change the name to mushy brussel sprouts. They tasted fine but mushy-probably frozen.nn3. Mushroom Chicken and Chimichurri BavettenGot 3 words to describe it: SALT, SALT, and even more Salt.nOur 2 meals were so salty our mouths were pretty much burning. Couldn't finish my chicken. That's how salty it was.nnInformed the waiter to pass on this message to the chefs: Slack off on the salt. Salt does not always mean better.nnSuch as Shame.nThis place used to be great.
Hello,nSince you you haven’t replied to my email. I’ll send this again.nI wanted to share some feedback about my recent dining experience, which was unfortunately quite disappointing. I ordered the calamari, and it was greasy and overcooked. The color of the calamari was far too dark—almost chocolate brown—while it should have been closer to the color of your fries. Additionally, the portion was UNDERWHELMING I received only 3-4 rings of calamari and a large amount of batter, which made it feel like I was paying for mostly fried dough, not the seafood I expected.nnOn top of that, My wife & I ordered a Baton Rouge Hamburger that had no flavor at all—it was very bland and lacked any seasoning. For the $20 we spent on the calamari & the $23 for the hamburgers, I expected a much better quality meal.nnSadly, this was on my birthday, and it did not make for an enjoyable celebration. Given the issues with both the food and the overall experience, I believe a reimbursement or refund is in order.nnI hope you take this feedback seriously and work on improving the quality of your food and service.nHonestly feedback from you would be appreciated regarding our experience.nnBest regards,nCosta pi
