Install was awesome took a few hours. Lifetime warranty that they push is useless. Mine started to mold on the sealant after a few weeks so I called them. Her response was come down to the store and I'll sell you the sealant and I replace it myself. A few more weeks later the 250$ faucet started dripping so I called again. This time she says go on line to the faucet manufacturer web site, order new seals and change them yourself. The life time warranty they brag about basically only covers flaws in the tub liner which would never happen anyway. Any other problem is your problem.Service: Bathtub replacement
I had a really positive experience with Bathfitter. A small issue after installation was corrected immediately. Installer was efficient, courteous and tidy. Really happy with my upgrade
The experience of using Bath Fitter has mostly been positive. The planning for and installation of a tub insert and wall covering went very well. Unfortunately, Bath Fitter only uses NON-paintable silicone in their installation process. This is fine for internal edges/corners but can cause additional problems along the ceiling and walls - as we have now experienced. Most contractors would use paintable caulking for renovations so we assumed Bath Fitter would as well. They did not tell us otherwise even though it was known throughout the process that their work was just one part of our bathroom renovation. I recently purchased a home that had a bathfitter liner installed July 2018. Water between the liner and bathtub made it very unstable. I paid $160. for a service call to have the water drained. As he left, he told me "it works 90% of the time". There was still water between the liner and the bathtub and still unstable. I asked for a refund. The service person called and wanted to come back. When I told him I was having it replaced, he told me "it was too far gone " when he came to drain it. Why didn't he tell me that before trying to drain it? I asked to speak to someone who could provide a refund. I have not heard back yet. Very poor customer service. I would have appreciated the honesty in the first place saying "it's too far gone".
