I discovered this restaurant today and I am so glad I did! The food was delicious. The portions are generous. I have been to other Italian restaurants where you get a small portion and you pay a lot more. At Basilico, the prices are reasonable. There are a lot of choices to pick from. I had "Gigi" the pasta. I loved every bite I had. I tasted the pizza. It's also amazing! We ordered several deserts as you can see in the photos. They were all fresh, savory and very beautifully presented. The chocolate mousse is to die for. You should absolutely try it. It is light and fluffy. About the service, it was fast. The friendly staff made sure we had a great time. The owner is so nice and generous. I highly recommend! We will be back for sure.
Cozy nice little place to sit and enjoy italian food. Though they do not have big selection, the things they offer tasty enough for the price. We came here on Saturday evening at 17:30 and it was literally the only place still empty for people to come without reservation. Otherwise nothing within 10km. We had Greek Pizza and Carbonara. I would give 4 stars for the food as it was a bit salty both dishes, but not overly. For the dessert Strawberry Panna Cotta and Cannoli. First time I've eaten unsweetened cannoli, but overall they were good. Loved Panna Cotta! Parking is free and easily accessible. Staff are friendly and welcoming.
My first time in Basilico pizza , Service was perfect, waitress was very polite and friendly and smiling. Pizza was very tasty and reasonable portion, price was reasonable too. I'm so happy that we have such a great restaurant in Nun's island
Here you will get pizza with a crust a bit thicker than the NeyYork style. The taste of this crust is delicious! Portions are great. Great ambiance and amazing service every time! Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free pizza
Awesome food, very attentive waitress. We come here regularly. Always fresh, always tasty. Very authentic Italian...we know because....it reminds us of our travels to Italy
Secret hidden gem on Nun's island. Authentic Italian chef with traditional recipes. Do yourself a favor. Do a bit of research how to make authentic carbonara, then come and eat it here, it is the real deal.Food: 5/5
Great dining experience. The pizza and salads were scrumptious at a decent price. Lovely staff.
One of the rare good food restaurant on Nuns' Island. Service can be improved. Quiet crowded on weekend Parking: Free parking in front
The service was A1. The pizza was exceptional. Price wise, reasonable considering today's prices.Food: 5/5
Nice atmosphere. Great food. Manager was a bit rude and uppity, telling us we should've had a reservation despite the place being empty. Otherwise a great stop for some delicious pizza. Everyone else was fantastic to deal with.
