Les Seelye and his team have been super friendly, efficient and professional. Our family has been visiting Barkley Boulevard Dental Care for over 2 years and we have been extremely happy with our experiences.
Les is great at explaining dental treatment plans, the why and the how of it. 
My personal dental health has improved with the care of regular cleanings that I have received. The dental hygienist do an amazing job. They listen to your concerns and successfully accommodate you with overall ease and little discomfort. 
I would highly recommend Barkley Boulevard dental care for you and your family.

My opinion of this clinic has completely soured after being a patient for just over a year. Up until this afternoon at 1:15 PM, I would have told you that going to the dentist isn't a big deal! 

Today, I headed in for a cleaning. I was all set up in the chair with my blanket on when my hygienist started talking to me about having my x-rays done again to take a look at a problem area that was identified a year ago. I'm not really keen on having my head x-rayed too often, digital or not, so I started asking if it was totally necessary, or if we could only x-ray the area in question. She then mentioned that it is their "policy" that x-rays are done yearly and I said that I would not agree to yearly x-rays. 

Next thing I know, Dr. Seelye gets up from the patient he is working on in the cubicle next to me and comes over and says to me "I've been listening to your conversation and I am very uncomfortable. My name is on the door of this office and [blah blah blah], so I am going to ask you to leave my practice." then snatches the blanket off me (keep in mind, he's wearing the gloves he had in the other patients mouth next to me) and walks away. 

It is a rare occasion I am left speechless, but in this case I was. To snatch a blanket off me with dirty gloves and make such a public ordeal over something so trivial is ridiculous and awkward.

I was shocked at the lack of professionalism Dr. Seelye exhibited. It was such an inappropriate way for a business owner to handle this situation.

After he "fired" me, I was just left to walk out of the clinic on my own and told reception to remove me and my husband off the calendar for the future. Of course, I was irritated because they just wasted a boat load of my time, but reception handled it equally as poorly as Dr. Seelye did. They were so unnecessarily rude to me, like I had killed their cat, or kicked their kid. 

The last couple of times I have gone to the clinic, it has smelled like gross microwaved meat. Dental clinics should smell sterile, not like a cafeteria. 

My husband hates this clinic and is actually really happy we aren't going back. He's had a couple of fillings replaced which still hurt a year later. Dr. Seelye never took my husband's complaints seriously. Additionally, Dr. Seelye broke a crown twice trying to install it in my husbands mouth, resulting in temporaries to be installed and more appointments/time away from work required. 

I will admit that both my husband and I have found Dr. Seelye to be really awkward. He has an odd facial expression and behaves with an off-putting arrogance. He also hums while he's working and it is incredibly annoying. Overall,  I will say that he tries to be pleasant, but he is not genuine, so it's hard to find a connection, or relate to him. 

The hygienists are great at this clinic and I'm sure would be more customer focused (after all, dentistry is completely privatized and dental clinics compete for clients), but working under a guy like Les Seelye, they probably know they are also working under his thumb. If he can have an outburst like that at a paying customer, imaging how he must treat his staff whom he pays...

Yikes.

I've been a patient at Barkley Boulevard Dental Care for 12 years, and I cannot speak highly enough of Dr. Seelye, and his staff.  Thorough, extremely professional, efficient, so knowledgeable, and great communicators.  I trust them all explicitly.

I've been seeing the folks at Barkley Blvd Dental Care for over a dozen years. They have a wonderful staff and Dr. Les is attentive and responsive. I highly recommend this dental clinic!

I am very happy with my experiences at Barkley Boulevard Dental! I have been going there a couple of years now and their staff is always kind, flexible and knowledgeable.  When I needed a chipped tooth fixed asap, they got me in right away.
