The sunset at Vancouver's Sunset Beach is incredibly beautiful. The beach offers stunning views, with the sky adorned in golden and orange hues as the sun dips below the horizon, casting its radiant light upon the ocean waters. It's a serene and tranquil scene that attracts many visitors who come here specifically to witness the breathtaking sunset. I hope this brief description gives you a sense of the beauty of the sunset at Vancouver's Sunset Beach.
Best place to visit during the summer season especially at the end of July when it’s a fireworks.Visited onWeekendWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNo
This is a great location to watch the sunset over the water. The barge now has its very own security to make sure people don't try and get too close. There is an okay about of parking but I'm willing to bet it gets filled up during busy hours. It was a little cold while my girlfriend and I went. Wanted to make sure to see one of Vancouver's new and favorite attractions.
The stranded barge, named the Chilling Beach Barge, has been stranded for due to a November 6th 2022 powerful wind storm..after having broken loose from its mooring it has been stranded along this stretch of Vancouver’s Sunset Beach..reportedly it will be broken down into smaller pieces and carted away..because its so near the pathway the number of interested individuals pauses with photos taken and curiosity exhibited…
Nice sandy beach that is at the heart of Downtown Vancouver. Parking is around $4 per hour as of Oct 2022.

Went to see the Barge over the long weekend. Definitely not an eye sore like others claim it to be. I personally think it gives a nice, unique aesthetic to the area. Can the city just make it into a cool a** restaurant?... An art piece?... If this was NYC, I'm sure they would've done wonders by now if a storm swept a barge to their harbour by accident.
I saw so many memes when this first washed up so of course when I came to visit van I had to check it out. There is something really beautiful about such and industrial object being washed up. It blends in with the rest of the public art in Vancouver. It was also along the half marathon race so it was cool to see while running by.
Nice place to watch the sunset, make sure to bring food , drinks and something to sit on as there is no gastronomy and limited seating! Restrooms: Decent!
Newest and most affordable attraction Vancouver has! Love it but too bad it's only for barge chilling unless you can get past the security guard. But seriously, why is it still here?
