Acadia Beach

Secluded beach with a surprise every time. In the day; naked beach goers mostly older men, at night; campfires and people creating music accompanied by the sound of the waves.

I love walking to this beach from UBC. The views of downtown Vancouver, North Vancouver and snow clad peaks are amazing. Perfect place to visit on any weather and have some relaxing time. I love watching sunset from this place, having small picnics with friends, great for BBQ as well. The beach is a bit rocky. I highly recommend visiting this serene beach.

Beautiful beach that is nicely tucked away. It is a great spot for beach-combing sometimes the rocks get in the way, and the graffiti-covered towers are cool too. Be wary of the steep wooden steps.

Picnic tables with a very good view. Love it

Nice beach for great views. Way out of the way unless you live in the area. All rocks unless the tide is out. With the rocky beach and trees you can have that rustic out of town feel. Probably great on a rainy day.

Less crowded so we enjoyed the sunset at the beach. Beautiful!

Snow time is a good time too

Love this neighbourhood beach. Come by at sunset with a good camera you will get your pic of the day.
