Story

Built in 1891, bar Wellington is a wonderful former residence that has been pain stakingly restored over the years. It has been the home to the Portland Grocery and Wellington Lunch since the early 1950s, Not your average pub/bistro bar Wellington has become a part of the core fiber of the Wellington PLace neighbourhood in the King West district. Known as the "Go to" in the area when meeting friends or business associates. It is a welcome relaxed with a friendly atmosphere. Featuring a selection of local and internationally inspired foods and beverages.

Great lil pub with a general food and drink menu! They have every day deals that are of great value. Expansive patio makes it a good place to drop in with friends.
Good service and the prices are decent. The patio is very nicely spaced so good for socially distanced dining. The service could be improved. I was told they don't take reservation after 6 and when I went their with my friends, I was told to wait since there is a reservation before me.

The burger is gross. No flavor and incredibly chewy. I highly suspect they use frozen patties like the ones you find at the grocery store. The fountain coke had no fizz so maybe ask for a can. Fries were good.
Hands down my favourite bar to visit in Toronto. Had an amazing time there with great staff, good craft beer selection, and the best music. Can't wait till I'm next in Toronto
We did brunch! It was soooo amazing. Service was great even with it being busy. Definitely worth trying!
