Ordered take out from here and everything was outstanding. Tremendous flavour without being too rich. The steak was cooked to perfection and the hassle back potatoes may be one of the best dishes in YYC.

Finally after a couple of months we could all get together and go to Bar Von der Fels for lunch. What an amazing experience! We tried about five of the dishes from golden beets to schnitzel and each one was better than the last! I had about the best dirty martini I have had, and the wine pairings for the food was exceptional.

Great food nicely paired with excellent wine! Will and his staff are super friendly. Love the intimate small size of the room. Great looking crowd. 10/10

This place is a real gem with an amazing food selection. Crab with the potatoes was to die for and their bread was delicious. Service was exceptional from the moment we walked in, until we left. This place is definitely one of the best resturants my husband and I have been to.

Love this restaurant. Delicious food, great wine list, wonderful service, intimate room. An important gem in Calgary's restaurant landscape.
