Came here on a Friday evening with a bit of a wait time. But we’ll worth the wait. Service was amazing with good food. I like the idea where you can either choose their house wine at a very affordable price point or choose from their selection of wine. Their was was delicious, portions were fair and very fun to share. The vibe was great, cozy atmosphere, at some point the whole restaurant sang together and that was a core memory for me forever.
This place is a gem! I spent 3 days in Montreal tried 6-7 restaurants all in all and this was the best experience I had. They have a very nice charcuterie board and wine selection. I tried the orange one and the white wine. You do not have to be a wine or cheese expert at all they make a wonderful cheese plate. As a picky eater I did not like one of the cheeses and I am not huge of cold cut but my husband liked all of the cold cuts so it seemed good. It has an authentic vibe while not being pretentious at all, the server was super nice and checked on our bread and wine refill several times. The price is average, we got 4 glasses of wine and a mixed cheese and meat board it all came to 78 dollars before tip. Would highly recommend and would visit again.
I went there with my husband on October 2022. This place is a hidden jewel in the Rosemont neighborhood. We started with the orange wine. The first nice thing about this place is that you are not forced to take only one cup or the entire bottle, you can have other different sizes like 250ml, 500ml, 1L, etc. Next, we order the burrata with a plank of “charcuterie”. Both had a really nice taste that we enjoyed quite a lot. They were high quality products. The prices are completely fair! I would only have two notes. First, this place is catching people’s attention so it can get crowded, particularly on the weekends. If you go there at peak hours be prepared to wait. We waited around 40 min. Second, the bread does not match the quality of the cheeses and meat in our opinion. I mean, you get a normal sliced baguette which tastes good but maybe we were hoping for something more artisanal or different given the high quality of the other products. Definitely, is a place worth going that I absolutely recommend.
Had higher expectations when I tried this wine bar on a Sunday evening. From the moment we got there it was clear the team was a bit short staffed. There were 2 people on the floor to take care of the whole place which included a terrasse. Found wine options limited and the food options interesting, but none that I found particularly whaoo. As for the service despite being so lean, they were nice and friendly.
The chef's board was fantastic. Excellent vibe and extremely friendly waiters and waitresses. Be prepared to wait in line for a while as it gets busy on weekends!
Cozy and laidback wine bar with Northern French cuisine. The dessert was an absolute delight! Staff was very friendly too.
Max reception and Christo service were very attentive and professional. Loved all the local "cochonaille". The cheese palette could of been wider soft to blue for example. The 3 wine tasting experience was very interesting. The "Rillette" needed just that bit more of salt, in my opinion, sorry. They have a wine store attached to the restaurant where they sell their private imports, unfortunately only 1 bottle $43 of the 3 tasting wine was available for purchase. We were a group of 8, many left empty handed...When I do a wine tasting, I like to bring back bottles of the wine with me and fill my cellar with it! A bit of a mist opportunity here. Will I go back? DEFINITELY if they will have me :
Incredible food, homey atmosphere and good service. Highly recommend if you want good wine and delicious French food
Amazing ambiance. It seems that their menu changes often enough and the food I ate the last time I went was delicious and unlike anything I had ever had before. I highly recommend as a place to go with friends in the evening or just to have dinner and drinks on the patio in the summer.
Friendly service. Cheese and charcuterie board offered a wide selection of local products. The house red was a bit sweet for me, so I had one of the other ones by the glass which was nice and oaky. They let you wait at the sister bar next door until your table is ready. 70s music made the experience even better.
