Banh Mi Bar

Great little shop with friendly owner/staff. Bahn mi is a simple sandwich; so if you're expecting something spectacular than you'll be let down. I was pretty happy with this place and they have a sandwich card. Eat 10 get 1 free. I'll be back.

Great quality Banh Mi. Bread is terrific, ingredients are fresh and tasty. The price is amazing - it costs far less than Subway but you're getting a much higher quality product. The super friendly staff also manage to turn the sandwiches out faster than the major fast food chains as well, even when there's a crowd. To me, the benchmark Banh Mi in Vancouver is Au Petit Cafe. While they may remain the king, Banh Mi Bar in New West is certainly batting in the same league for quality, is much faster, and there's nothing else like it locally. For this, it gets top marks.

Good banh mi for good price. Really love the house special. The pate is nice and the baguettes are fresh and crispy on the outside.

We visited this little gem after work. I ordered the special. Wow, it's really good. Everything just works in the sub. Love the lightly pickled radish to the warm toasted sub. I would visit this treat again.

Tried the house special and it was saucy and meaty but it lacked zing from the pickled vegetables that I’m used to in Vietnamese sandwiches. Otherwise it was a good size and great price. It was just bland.
