Balwin School

If You are Indigenous don’t attend this school. Saw a fight the native girl WHO LOOKS WHITE!! was kicked out and the white girl who was making racist remarks against natives was accepted back into school. Lawsuit coming through Human Rights!!! I gave my statement. Time to remove racist staff.

this school is the lower cheaper north side schools worst principles they both dont care about you they target kids just a bad school always lying and saying you have dont stuff just dont bring your kid they dont care about you and a 9th grader was trying to fight a 7th grader didnt do anything they laughed right in there face about it

You may or may not find this to be of interest but I was one of the music teachers band, jazz band and some English way back in the early 70's. The principal at the time was Frank Loewen. Even back then, Balwin was a very good school with a superb staff and very fine students. When I was offered a teaching position in Kelowna, BC, although I was looking forward to the adventure of experiencing BC, I was very sad to be leaving Balwin and the many staff members who had become friends. I also missed the students all of whom would now be in their early 60's... hard to believe! Back in those Balwin days, I was 26 years of age .... I am now age 76. I clearly recall the names of many of the students I taught ... would be great to perhaps encounter some of them again. Great times at Balwin!
