I had my first appointment with Physiotherapist Katherine at the clinic. She gathered detailed information about my health and discussed/determined my therapy goals based on what I wanted from the therapy. She developed an exercise and stretching routine specifically designed to my needs. Very impressed with my first visit. The clinic bills the insurance company directly which is really great!
Dr. Simon Wong was phenomenal. It was my first time ever visiting a Chiropractor and I couldn’t wait to see him again, He was genuine, highly professional, sincere and compassionate, unfortunately the lady at the front desk Emily made demands that made me uncomfortable and I won’t be visiting again unless my situation in looked into. I am rating a 1 star until a review is done. She claimed my insurance claim didn’t go through during my consultation that it was showing a “time out” error message, she probably didn’t know she was talking to a software architect so I educated her on what that meant, the claim is probably not even getting through to the insurance provider due to network problems or server could be offline. I let her know that if my insurance had an issue, there should be a detailed response and reason that she can convey back to me. I’ve built hundreds of these systems! I then gave her my second insurance with a different insurance provider , she still insisted on my having my credit card details citing “it’s clinic policy to have my credit card on file before submitting a claim” that’s when I lost it because I know a BS when someone is serving me one. First of all, you didn’t inform your client of this policy, you administer a treatment then try to obtain my credit card information through some policy you just made up and you didn’t inform me about beforehand. Anyways I insisted she submits the claim, and I’ll pay the offset and I will not divulge my credit card details. Her whole body language was suspect too, eventually she submitted the claim, it went through and I paid the co-payment. How difficult was that? Ultimately Dr Simon needs to ensure his staffs are honest and respectful because this would put a dent on his work. This woman needs proper training. Thank your Dr Simon for your help, I would have loved to continue my treatment with you but unfortunately Emilee’s conduct has left a bad taste in my mouth. Update: I had a dentist appointment today and my claim was submitted to 2 of my insurance companies and both covered 100%. This is what Emily should have done instead she was interested in collection credit card details you can’t assure me you can protect. Your clinic is a scam. Throw it away.
Excellent care, patience and treatments this morning from my alternate Chiropractor at BBAHC, Dr. Simon Wang ! He took time to ask about my chest/rib injury and various resulting symptoms, explained what he could do to help improve, treated with acupuncture, muscle massage and adjustments which really helped to improve the degree of acute discomfort and pain I'd been experiencing so am thankful for his efforts. I've been going to BBAHC for 9+ years now and have always found that my regular Chiropractor, owner Dr. David Torrance, as well as his team, have always been very friendly, caring and wonderful to see!
This place is great. I went for physio with Katie due to a knee injury and she covered everything in order to find the root of the problem. Very personable and knows her stuff. Great physiotherapist and I'm looking forward to my next session.
I have had two sessions of physiotherapy at Balanced body, so far. The result is amazing. Katherine Allward, the therapist, is quite knowledgeable and does her job beautifully.
I have had a variety of treatments with various therapists here. From the receptionist on, they are always professional, thorough , polite and welcoming. I highly recommend this spot and am happy to have it in my neighbourhood
Dr. Gov was fantastic to work with. I had extreme lower back pain after an injury, and over the course of two weeks she was able to take me from being immobile to feeling better than I did before the injury! She made sure not to aggrivate the injury during treatment by communicating frequently. She always told me what she wanted to do next and where I would feel it so that I could decide if it would be too much for that day or if we could continue. I would highly recommend her as a clinitian, she listened to my history and her treatment considered all of the aspects of my health, not just the accute injury that I inittially needed to see her for. Thanks for getting me back to work Korina!

It was my first time here, coming to see Dr. Crystal Draper for my first prenatal chiropractic appointment at 33 weeks gestation. I received a friendly greeting as soon as I walked through the door. And even though I was 15 minutes early, I was welcomed and had a great service from the very beginning. Dr. Draper was very attentive and constantly asked me if I was okay or feeling uncomfortable/pain. She also answered all my questions and I felt more knowledgeable about my condition at the end of my session. Looking forward to my second session next week!
